Personally, I would call tech support - but I hope posting @ FR is equally fruitful for you.At least we're not a call center in India.
...and we're usually helpful. Just don't ask us to keep an eye on the news channels while you're in the shower!

I have tried everything suggested in multip=le google searches, as well as everything suggested by Sony sup=p=ort which included system restore, uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard driver, booting a several times. Next: drag it to the geek squad. I have decided there has to be something in the keyboard that my can of air couldnt blow out.
