My first thought once I read the by-line !!!!
Weird Associated Press grammar | typso ping
Thirty 1-year-olds? And you thought you had it hard.
Typso ping!
This is mildly amusing, but it's also an example of a whole array of errors in writing ages. The one that drives me nuts is "years-old," as in, "I will be forty-one years-old in July."
I’ve noticed lately that hyphen-madness (**grin**) seems to have struck a lot of online writers. Maybe it’s contagious like a virus.
One problem with online dissemination is that it allows writers to avoid editors.
ms.hopkins was my teacher and it really shocked everyone when we heard she got arrested. she was a great teacher and no one would have thought she would do anything like this. our whole block at school had so much respect for her so it’s kinda hard to imagine her doing something like this. she was the best algebra teacher we could ask for.
Ummmmmmm...............
sweety, when you’ve lived another 30 years like I have you’ll learn that most child predators appear to be charming, delightful people.
