If youve had Rotties and pit bulls and Great Danes for 10 years,
Putting the Great Danes in the same category with Rotties and Pitt Bulls is quite unfair. The Danes, despite their size, are kind and well behaved dogs. A friend of mine had this Rottie which she labeled as being shy but I never felt comfortable around that dog. She used to look at me with that look, you know which one, eyes sort of down as if she was indeed shy and seemingly docile but I was always on the edge with that dog around. I've been around dogs and cats all my life and one thing I did learn is to respect them and allow them to initiate contact and luckily, keeping my distance from this dog was indeed a good move for me. She ended up attacking one of her nephews, putting a huge gash in his calf. The dog was destroyed.

Shes a good egg, even if she does eat beetles, then crouches in front of whoever is handy, to spit them up (gag!).
This is something cats do for their owners, it's a token of her affection for your guys. My husband's cat (she passed on 3 years ago) used to bring him dead squirrels, lizard or headless birds. One time he brought him a live mice which went lose into the house. I have to tell you, quite an adventure :) She just loves you so she shares regurgitated beetles with you :)

Aww, what a sweet, noble face. He’s a rescue? It’s so frustrating how people just think animals are disposable. I’m very glad he’s now with someone who will cherish him.
Yes, our cat is a talker. She makes quite a few different sounds, and she trills right before she’ll launch herself into my husband’s arms (when he’s standing). She really puts effort into communication, particularly when I walk near the cupboard where her food is kept.
She’s our first Siamese, and she’s finally getting us trained to her specifications.

Poor cat is housebound, so instead of birds and squirrels, she has to content herself with beetles, moths and spiders, at least so far.
We live out in a rural area, and I don’t dare let her out. Our neighbor has 2 dogs that kill wildlife, we occasionally hear coyotes and frankly, she’s so friendly I’m afraid someone would steal her.

No its just the idiot owners who teach them wrong, I had a pit bull Siberian husky mix had really good manners never gave me a problem like i said it all depends on the owners and how well you train them.
They also shouldn't allow pit bulls, rotties, chows with kids under the age of 6.
