Most of southern Idaho is sagebrush desert...across the street from my subdivision...we get less than 14 inches of rain a year here.
After growing up on the gulf coast, in steambath New Orleans and Houston, I love it.

I’ve been in eastern Washington...my hubby has family in the tri Cities area and in Yakima, and my bil and sil both live in the greater Seattle area...so we have an excuse to cross over that way from time to time.
It is dry.
