Did you read the comments under the story? Very interesting.
The bags are then set afire after ringing the doorbell and then a mad dash to the bushes to watch the resident open the door and stomp out the fire with his shoes.
Oh course I did. Did you? What is your point? Or do you even have one? what you asked makes no sense without a constructive comment of some sort.
Posted By:lisa at April 19, 2007 8:22 AM (Suggest Removal) I have a teenage daughter attending LMS. I happened to be at the school that day. I was dealing with an incident that happened to my "White Daughter" a few weeks prior. A few girls kicked in the bathroom stall she was in...and were continuing to bully her with with harassing looks and snide comments under there breath..I was told by one of the authority figures there that day; "My issue was nothing compared to what happened there at lunch that day..." I suppose this mentality is what bothers me most. I do not in anyway condone what these children did in the lunch room...But I do not feel it is anymore or any less significant than what happened to my daughter...And I am tired of feeling pushed aside by this mentality...Sorry I lived in Maine all of my life..Im white and I am feeling like the minority...Wheres my voice? Why isn't the media and the people in charge sort of speak jumping on protecting our rights?? We don't use our religion as a weapon towards others...My life will not be surrounded by muslim religion... That you count on..."Hate Crime" Seriously what is worse? Some food thrown on a table or some kids kicking in a bathroom stall while another child is in there?? Then calling that child names and threatening to beat her up...??? You tell me? But Yet I was told my problem was nothing comapared to the hamsteak...Ok...
Posted By:TSS at April 19, 2007 9:32 AM (Suggest Removal) My nephew, who is catholic, was made fun of for complaining that on a Friday during Lent, the lunchroom offered no non-meat main dishes. Nobody adults stepped in to stop the teasing and my nephew was completely embarassed for standing up for himself when no adults jumped to his aid. I'll tell you what though, if he were Somali, and they were only offering Pork for lunch, it would've made front page news. Racism goes both ways. The same rules and rights don't apply to our non-Somali children. It's getting to a point where white people are so darn afraid to say a word against any Somali because they will be deemed racist. We've converted our lives to walk on eggshells around them and every situation involving them. I'm not racist and I don't mind them being here, but it sometimes seems like their rights and religious rules have completely taken over. Forget about our rights and religious rules. A little bit of a double standard if you ask me!
Next time be more specific I thought you were talking about the comments here not the newspaper and the Globe had none but I do think the Sun journal did, but no I did not read those.
POLICE investigate? Is there NOTHING else they could be doing or investigating?
“One-Adam-Twelve, we have a six-six-six at [insert name of school]”
“Six-six-six? What’s that one?”
“Oh, yeah, that’s the new code for ham on the same table as a Muslim”
“Riiiight.”
Next we’ll be reading how the HazMat team had to come in and remove the offending pork product. Sheeeesh.
This has gone beyond ridiculous. People better wake up.
Superintendent Leon Levesque said the incident is being treated seriously and police are investigating. The center for the Prevention of Hate Violence is working with the school to devise a response plan.
I read the responses and then went to read the article. Unbelievable!!! This is being “treated seriously” and “the center for the Prevention of Hate Violence is working with the school to devise a response plan”
a RESPONSE PLAN!!! Do you hear that?? to putting a piece of ham on the table! Are they CRAZY?????
ooh, I almost wish this had been my child suspended. I need the money.
I always thought I would have to get really old before the world stopped making sense of any sort.
You know, the old “back in my day....”
Sheesh!
When hams are outlawed, we will be living in a strict Sharia Law Islamic Caliphate.
Me as the principal of that school, to the parents of the Somalis:
“This is America. We eat ham here. Get over it. Don’t like it, go back to your Somali hellhole and get the hell out of our country.”
I know what ham is. It’s from a pig.
I also know what steak is. It’s from a cow.
What animal does ham steak come from?
For centuries, observant Jews abstained from "unclean" foods, anyone in America care about ham, bacon or pork chops? Nope.
Now let someone in liberal America object to a "ham sandwich" and it's "hate" and "bigotry."
Very good evaluation of the situation. We Americans allow these foreigners in our midst to use our welfare programs/freebies and legal system against us. We are creating a new class of "victims." With C.A.I.R. and the ACLU doing their bidding, we are digging a very big hole for ourselves. What can we expect when we have a President who thinks they are the "Religion of Peace?" Unfortunately, he's doing that with the Mexicans too. He won't be satisfied until the middle class American families are living in poverty.
Btw, that ham sandwich looks delicious. Now, I'm hungry for one. LOL!
