Certainly would be cruel and unusual for the Islamo-nuts. Can’t have a fat pig running around with all them Muslims.
And it would take them too long to make enough rope to strap a bomb belt around her fat @$$!
Free the whales! Fire Rosie!!
“Even if Imus does go to Gitmo, it likely won’t be the first time he’s wore panties on his head.”
ROFLOL!!! That reminds me of Rush’s comment about panties-on-the-head “torture”:
“By the way, don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it.”

Why does she get a pass for her racism and glaring stupidity, not to mention her anti-military, anti-American comments? Probably because she's an overweight lesbian and thus, an official 'victim' (in the left-wing alternate universe) with the kind of loony-left ideas that the powers-that-be at ABC/Disney like to see disseminated, especially by somebody else. Let's face it: Rosie has no credibility so she has nothing to lose and the physically live but otherwise brain-dead audience at 'The View' TV show will wildly applaud whatever ridiculous thing that comes out of her ample mouth. In addition, Ms. O'Donnell is a darling of the ultra-left, practically a guarantee of life-long employment somewhere in Hollywood, even if no one ever watches or listens to her again. Ask Al Franken or Bill Maher how that works.
Don Imus is an arrogant fool who very likely lives in the usual show business 'bubble'; surrounded by sycophants and insulated by his relative fame and his money. Well, for all that, the smug old fellow finally went too far and insulted the wrong group of people in a manner that could not be laughed off. Oh, Imus may manage to grovel enough to hold on to his lucrative radio gig. However, my guess is that he'll soon resign to 'save face' because he's been abandoned by the N.Y. left (who he probably thought were his friends) and humiliated by cheesy race hustlers. Besides, his radio show will now be censored, something the Imus ego won't be able to tolerate for very long, after decades of saying practically anything he wanted.
I don't feel much pity for the guy. Apparently he got away with years of occasional on-air sly racist comments couched as sarcasm - and made millions doing it. Well, the proverbial chickens finally came home to roost and Don Imus, at 66, is now finding out that he isn't as powerful and important as he thought he was, as he is forced to apologize to practically everyone in America for that one idiotic, racist comment multiple times and even has to genuflect toward race-hustling clowns like Al Sharpton, who stubbornly dismiss his obsequious toadying and continue to scream for his firing.
Oh, well. You reap what you sow.
Now, with a humiliated Don Imus slowing turning over the metaphorical spit of negative media and public opinion, I would like to see Rosie O'Donnell get her comeuppance. Unfortunately, I doubt she will, as she is apparently insulated by the leftmedia and her employer (Barbara Walters and ABC) so Rosie will likely go on uttering stupid and often outrageous on-air comments another few years until she, too, eventually insults the wrong 'protected' group or person. I can't wait for that day to come...and it will.
Rosie's next then Alan Colmes.
Deb I’m sorry for your loss and you and everyone should be proud of your son’s sacrifice. It is horrible the amount of pain that must be endured because of a media that repeats endless falsehoods and gives the individuals platforms to speak what on any other issue would be considered hate speech. I wonder how many soldiers come home to have to deal with friends and family who disrepect them because of the media lies. I wonder how many have to seek mental help because they instead of coming home to a heros welcome come home to an endless stream of coward speech on the tv from people who not only sympathize with the enemy but clearly wish them to win. There has got to be a solution to shut all of the liars up and that is what they are. They are not exercising freedom of speech preaching propaganda to rally the great unwashed against our nation. They have stepped beyond the line of reason and should be treated to dinner fit for only the insane.
I was thinking about what we can do and I realized that all the conservative media outlets spend most of their time following the liberal media’s line or responding to it. Why don’t they devote a once a week headline to something good going on in Iraq or Afghanistan? Why don’t they devote a half hour a week on radio to let our soldiers speak to their good works? I feel the anger against the left as well as any good God loving patriotic American does but the last thing I want is to have this simmering anger boil over even though part of me would love to lay hands on some of them and not in the religious sort of way. lol But it isn’t just Rosie, there are people just like her that work in the highest levels of the government. That is what should alarm all of us. The enemy works in DC and has the highest security clearances. They openly chat about how they can’t believe the President hasn’t been assasinated.
That said I’m one hundred percent behind you in boycotting ABC over Rosie’s comments.
lol She, like most liberals are studys in the art of indiscriminate thinking. They really don’t know how to tell the difference.
God bless you.
