I kinda figured you, but catfish's comment just seemed cold. Sometimes I say things as a joke, but I notice sometimes I totally botch it and I have upset people who take it seriously.

great paintings , some I have never seen before .
It's funny , they think we lost ....
Heck , we are just taking a break !
The Cause will never die , until the last Southern man of honor and dignity , who knows and well appreciates
their sacred heritage , has disappeared from this world .
And that , sir, will take a long long time.
ps: excellent tagline , my compliments

the jayhawkers, KS "volunteer cavalry" & the other KS milita were GARBAGE, pure & simple. they were CRIMINALS, who preyed on BOTH sides, without mercy. it was war for "fun & profit".

an old friend of my grandfather's used to say that, "opinions are like bellybuttons. everyone has one & they frequently stink."
Judge Sam was CORRECT about lots of other things too.

The author of the video overlooked the inclusion of this picture- the very last word on the rebels backing down.

are you advocating "might makes right"????
whether a person/organization won or not has NOTHING whatever to do with the FACT that,as in the case of the WBTS, the OPPRESSORS frequently win.
"roo", surely you are SMARTER than that.

SW, you know we have differing opinions on which side was "right" in the Civil War, but my main point is that the most admired Confederate, Robert E. Lee, knew when it was time to back down. The Civil War is over. The Yankess are us, not them.
To: Colonel Kangaroo
maybe YOU are a DAMNyankee, but i am NOT & NEVER will be.
i am a southerner, born & bred, from one of "the old rebel families". we wanted FREEDOM from THE BEAST out of the northeast in 1861. we still desire that LIBERTY, now.
one day, i believe my 16YO niece will live to breath FREE dixie air in a new & MUCH improved dixie republic.
just think how great dixie LIBERTY would be for the DAMNyankees, too!
the DYs could have the intrusive,baby-killing,2d Amendment free, socialist, godLESS, anti-LIBERTY, nanny-state that they seem to desire & dixie would be FREE!
