I wanted to go there when I was young, lol.

I went to Mt. Sac instead for a semester. I’m guessing you know where that is...in Walnut?

I drive by Cal Poly all the time when I’m out there. Right by the freeway; still looks pretty.

Last time I was on campus it was barely recognizable as the same place where I matriculated.

Good morning everyone. Happy Father's Day to all you fathers, and you know who you are. ;)

I took a few pics at six AM because the long shadows were so pretty.

I was up with the birds, but I got one of the best worms. Heh, heh, heh.

Now I have to get to work for all the festivities today. Have a good one, you wonderful DD Fathers.

Pretty much was. All my education was in the area there, except for K-2, that was in New Yawk. : )

They continue to add buildings to Cal Poly, and Mt. Sac, too. That college seems to have changed even more substantially. They’re ripping out parking lots there now, which were in abundance, for new construction. The students aren’t very happy about that, of course.

So, how often did you stock up on chocolates?

Did you ever buy a 10 pound supply, lol?

No, we were too poor. We’d look in the window like Charlie in the Willy Wonka movie.

The parking lots at Mt. Sac were in abundance. At least, I thought so as compared to every other college. If you’re talking about Cal Poly...I never drove onto that campus...just waved at it as I passed from the freeway.

Arcadia for part and Rowland Hts. for part. They were both decent towns then...not any longer.

BTW, My spanish is a little rusty, isn’t “¡RECONQUISTA!” spanish for “Living in the shadows”?

Hi Gran, My wife and daughter took me up to a little restaurant, the Blue Boar, for a combined Father's day / birthday breakfast, here is a pic of our cornucopia and a pic looking across the restaurant. This is in Midway, Utah.
