You do know that the Ghirardelli headquarters is less than an hour’s drive from here, don’t you?

You do know that the Ghirardelli headquarters is less than an hours drive from here, dont you? I didn't realize, nully, that you were so close to Ghirardelli Square (that's what it's called, correct?)....I've been by there (not inside), last visit to SF, some time ago. (That's not counting my pit stop at the SF airport last Christmas...when I bought Ghirardelli and Sees chocolates.)
I do recall you saying one time that you had POUNDS of chocolate.....but that's likely stale by now, lol. And, this trip to So. Calif. will not likely allow a "stop over" in SF...though that chocolate is to die for.
So.....less than an hour's drive, huh? : )

The 10 Pound block of Ghirardelli’s Dark is gone. (I finally decided the ex hadn’t poisoned it)...

A four hour round trip. Gosh....so close to Ghirardelli.....such a temptation.....but I couldn't possibly....you're too kind, really.
(nice try....but I'm still on to ya...no dungeons for me :)

You didn’t want to spend two hours sampling and selecting just the right chocolate?

You didnt want to spend two hours sampling and selecting just the right chocolate? Oh sure....I'd just love to. Do you know someone at the plant? like the chef? or the packager?
To: null and void
You had the kids sample the chocolate to determine if it was poisoned? : )
To: nicmarlo
Of course! I knew she wouldn’t poison them!

I can’t imagine she could ever do something as dreadful like that, especially to the father of her children.
Is she that awful?
To: nicmarlo
Sometimes. Everybody's ex is pond-scum.
Or as I told Ratboy here a while back:
Whenever a wife or husband is murdered, the first suspect is ALWAYS the surviving spouse.
Who else knows you well enough to want to kill you???

Everybody's ex is pond-scum.
Mine is. : ) Actually, we get along fine now that we're not married....and as long as I never asked for anything for the children....and..... lol.

Very strange, indeed.
I will be staying with him, in fact, during my trip to CA, when I go see my girls. This has been the routine ever since they moved out there for college. And we get along fine. Oh well.
