It was the cartoon of Rumsfeld threatening to beat somebody's rear end with a shovel for messing with our country.

Now that's just plain silly. Talk about selective enforcement of the "rules" . . . all you read around here these days are fiery personal attacks between candidate partisan groups on each and every thread---even those unrelated to the election---and this gets someone banned? Hell, you can say that word on commercial radio!

well, several have made references to the donations.. I've donated in the past, but not the last several times.. But I will make a donation if and when I see Pookie's Toons come back...

When he posted the 4th time, he removed the offending cartoon. He said he wasn't getting good feedback from the mods as to what exactly was wrong the first couple of times.

BUT, what likely got him banned was that, in the TITLE for the 4th thread, he included in parenthesis the reason his first 3 posts were pulled. And he used the actual word, something like (1st 3 threads pulled beause of *** in a cartoon).

I think he was upset about the threads being pulled, and I think the mods were upset he put the word in the title of the thread.

Oddly, the thread lasted for quite some time before being pulled along with pookie.

Hopefully, it will be a temporary suspension.

I'm still surprised that people are getting comments pulled for using the word "b*st*rd, when our illustrious leader used it in a title.

Breaking the link would have been so much better than to pull the entire thread, dontchyathink? Pookie goes through a lot of work every morning to put together these toons.

Even though I don't always thank him for his time, effort and ping....I would like to now say Pookie...THANK YOU! I hope you come back real soon and continue to put smiles on people's faces every morning. I know I'm one of them.
