"What can possibly redeem the decade that brought us disco music?"
Off the top of my head:
Led Zepplin
LA Woman (Doors)
Dark Side of the Moon
Aqualung
I beg to differ. The one on the left looks quite fine.
5 minutes from my house.
led zeppelin's first record was in 1969
the doors first record was in 1967
you cheated by mentioning dark side of the moon as pink floyd was formed in the '60s, as was jethro tull
your point, though, is taken. After all, the Grateful Dead's best years were 72-77, even though they didn't tour for a while in there.

It really is. Although they are just two of many who are really messed up. I believe they have made bad decisions. When they get out of jail, they should be older and hopefully they will have learned the error of their behavior.
"estimated to be between 16 and 24"
What? Neither one of those old blisters is 16! Next, I suppose we'll get the stick figured police sketch!
...no disguises, no coveralls, no (visible) weapons, no attack dogs or killer grizzly bears...
How could they have not already been recognized?
That's what I get for posting before reading the article. :O)
Off Stilesboro, Mars Hill or on the golf course back there?
(I need to treat both of you to a cup of coffee at Stilesboro Biscuits one Saturday ...)
Heh.
I know, it's not a real word, but "gzing" isn't either.
I mean, I have a family photo of me in a rayon(?) type shirt that's blue and silver with an electrical outlet on the front pocket and a light switch on the back.
Oh yeah, and the collar has such sharp points you need safety glasses.
Craptacular indeed.
Stilesboro, Mars Hill across from Publix. I went to the post office just after it happened and saw a news helicopter hovering above Kroger. I didn't know what had happened.
We live near Mack Dobbs/Stilesboro.
