Add water wings and it would make a good birthday present for Teddy Kennedy.
Hey, I used used to own one! The Hot Wheel version anyway.
Maybe the Twin Cities Mullahs will let Algore borrow their seatbelt extenders. (:^D)
If it doesn't have room for kid seats, groceries, luggage, and gun carts, I ain't interested at any price.
OMG but that car is ugly - for that kind of money, I believe I could design one that looked better than this!
Ah, I see. The Caterham and the Westerfield (sp?) are both Lotus 7 clones. I'm not sure about the weight comparison, but the idea of putting a Suzuki Hayabusa engine in that superlight car was quite the innovative bit of wrench-turning. 10,000 rpm capability without the hideous expense of a purpose-built racing engine.
I've seen videos of the 'busa-powered "7" at Nurburgring, too - blasting past Ruf Porsches like they were dragging an anchor.
Caterham's the authorized inheritor of the Lotus 7 (if that matters to you).
It's a biplane???
hahaha... what tv show was that one again.. damn, I can remember that one.
Hey, how about a chrome luggage rack, ala 1965 MGB? A foxtail? Spinner Hubcaps? Tijuana-style ground effect fluorescent lights?
What happens to production after Jay Leno buys the first one?
Hm. Pretty pointless car, actually, because there's no room for a beautiful woman.
My guess is that it wouldn't pass the Missouri State inspection. Besides, where would you put the front license plate?
"Hardcastle & McCormick"
That's right! Thanks, would have been up at nights trying to remember.
Save yourself $654,000 and go buy a $6,000 250 cc shifter kart that will easily outperform this sucker up to 130 mph, and buy a regular commuter car.
Trust me, with your butt 3/4 an inch off the ground, 130 mph is fast enough.
