"Edith died? She's the only part of "All in the Family" I can still tolerate on TVLand. The rest is liberal propaganda."
Edith was Jean Stapleton. She's still alive. Maureen Stapleton played in movies such as Cocoon, The Money Pit, Bye, Bye Birdie, etc.

Ever see the movie The Freshman....Kirby is in it....I've seen parts of it. He played Matthew Broderick's friend, I think.

LaToya London--she was eliminated a week before or after Jennifer, and Elton John called Idol "racist!" LOLYeah. I remember that. The man is such an arse.

It would have been awkward if he didn't win this one since they got Coppola, Lucas and Spielberg all together to present the award...
To: Borges
You're probably right, but Meathead always seemed to get in the better jibes against Conservatism and they always made Archie out as a bigot.

"Well, I'm sure he was good in it, but I was hoping for O'Toole."
Me too. I've loved O'Toole for years. I really like him in "HIgh Spirits."

I might look at the montage you mentioned and see what you're talking about.

He was a bigot. But not out of hatefulness just out ignorance. He became a better person as the show went on. And Meathead was often shown to be a hypocrite.

You're right...they did take shots at both characters. It wasn't just a cut and dried thing.

I know, but I had to use my laptop to sit in front of the big tv, and I'm just not that comfortable and it was on a table that was too tall and it was a strain and ... and...and...

B-b-but I thought the results were "sealed" and closely guarded by those Waterhouse guys...!
I don't know if I like this voice-over lady that barks the trivia about the winners once their name has been announced, rather ungraceful delivery.
Diane Keaton looks very good.
To: All
Okay this is it....Good night all and thanks for the laughs.
