Posted on 02/08/2007 12:39:03 PM PST by kcvl

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

The hypocrisy wrt Anna's timely burial is amazing.

Anna wasn't concerned with Danny's remains "deteriorating" because he laid in his coffin above ground for almost 40 days before he was planted.

Wasn't Marshall "split in half" and it took Anna 5 years to pick up her half of his ashes?

Registration of an illegitimate child

All illegitimate children are given the mother’s last name. The father’s surname may be added to the certificate of an illegitimate child as long as a joint affidavit by both father and mother is sworn requesting that the name of the child’s father be recorded in the Register of Births. The affidavit must be presented at the time of the registration.

Corrections due to clerical error

No alteration may be made in any Register of Births except the error made is a clerical error. Errors of fact or substance may be corrected by entry in the margin or at the end of the Register of Births by the Registrar General provided a declaration setting forth the true facts of the case made before a Notary Public or Justice of Peace by two persons.

After five years from the date of registration no alteration of any error or fact of substance shall be made.

Barth, Barth, Barth.

She says that LB didn't file until a month after her birth.

Well, it wasn't until Sept 26 that her client, HKS went on LKL to publicly claim paternity himself.

Now, WHO anticipated that?

Yeah, they've just said (on here - I haven't seen it anywhere else) that Virgie fired the Bahamian attorneys. That would be all those at Halsbury Chambers - Jamal Davis, Desmar Whitfield-Henfield, and the one heard from this morning - somebody McCartney.

John O'Quinn ("Texas") was hired specifically for this fight in the Bahamas. Presumably Tom Pirtle ("Houston") was, too.

I think its that illegitimate birth and the surname thing that's going to hang them up.

Seems to me that Judge Sobbing was WAY too caught up in the image of ANS.....I'm waiting for him to claim he's actually the baby daddy...he and Dr. Pepper were practically hysterical over her "beauty". There was a viewing for family and whomever. That should have been the end of this open casket fantasy.

<< I don't think Anna liked cremation. She was suing Marshall's family for his body because she didn't want him to be cremated. I'll see if I can find some documentation to back that up.>>

"They tried to portray the widow as a gold digger, but she either wept at their questions or professed not to understand. On several points, she was clear. No, she had not retrieved the old man's ashes; cremation was "really disgusting." Yes, she was faithful to Pawpaw. And though she couldn't remember which day she was married, she was sure it was one of the most important in her life."

yeah... I think they did not know about the affidavit and no one said anything to them about the affidavit. So when the paperwork got passed on to the person who issues the BC, they left his name off the birth cert because the affidavit was not included and she marked down Widow. I think someone (Anna or Stern) then added his name on the birth certificate after they got it because they didn't know it could be corrected. Thompson may have pulled the altered version of the birth cert from the closet but the one on file probably does not have his name on it.

This is what I suspect - it will all probably come out what happened. I wonder if the laws over there are like they are here. That it up to you to figure all this out and to ask questions when you are unsure about something.
