Sounds like a load of boullion to me.
I think the museums are protecting themselves from the mad litigators. Lawsuits have certainly become a growth industry. Just look at asbestos. My brother a liberal architect says that litigation is mostly rediculous. It should mostly be confined to workers in boiler factories and others who had heavy industrial level asbestos exposure, not the general public. Nevertheless, some caution is advisable. If I don't wear gloves when handling pressure treated lumber, I make a point of washing my hands well after working it and before eating.
You are probably correct. I miss the days when you didn't have to be warned that coffee was hot and an iron is not intended to be used for cooking.
pressure treated lumberNot to sound like a officious tree-huggin' lawsuit-happy enviroweenie, but pressure's got nothing to do with it. It's CCA-treated lumber, the "A" being for Arsenic. :')
Did they also find any Old Lace?
It is arsenic treated. I knew that.
