It looks like the bar is moving swiftly in this case. They're pressing the charges before the case has ended for one thing, and that's a very unusual step. I don't think the bar is going to let it drag out, but I agree that would be the normal course because that's the general way they behave in all states as far as I know and have heard. But sometimes there is an exception that really lights a fire under them, and that fire appears to be well-lit now and approaching inferno level in a few months.
A criminal charge is the least likely of all the carnages he's facing.
Then he can use it pay his civil judgments and defense lawyers.

I'm still puzzling over what I think is a significant clue in Linwood's notes. The last thing he typed:
"Precious stated she did not remember wearing a maxipad or bleeding. (This was in response to statement made by security guard from Kroger)"
What did Crystal say to the guard? That she was bleeding and needed pads? She must have told the guard she was bleeding, but not because of a rape. The guard must have offered pads.
What an impressive ps job! That is, however, one engineer I have no desire to hug.....

No, her new story is that the rape occurred right after she arrived. She says she arrived at 11:40 and the rape occurred immediately after she arrived, according to the news story.
