I think the Big Ten might know a few things about football. One game does not a conference make.

I don't think any other conference has 4-6 National Championship teams each year. In the last 4 years, SEC teams won 2 NCs (LSU and Florida), were cheated out of one (Auburn), and didn't play last year.
Any objective football fan will recognize that the SEC has been the best conference in college football for the last 5 years now. Looks lke SEC dominance will only continue in the years ahead with great teams in Auburn, Bama, Florida, LSU, and Tennessee. One shouldn't count out Georgia from the scheme of things either.

Ohio State is 7-9-2 against current SEC teams (including a well-documented 0-7 in bowls), or 3-8-1 against teams in the SEC when the games were played.

There's a golden rule in football: never replace a legend. Perkins couldn't replace Bear Bryant, in fact nobody has except for Gene Stallings. It took almost 30 years for Ohio State to find a replacement for Woody Hayes. Ron Zook never had a chance at Florida trying to fill Darth Visor's shoes. He could have won the SEC every year he was the their, and he still wouldn't have been good enough.
Les Miles wasn't considered good enough to replace Nick Saban at LSU until that bastard stabbed us and Miami in the back by signing with Alabama. Now, Les is the most popular guy in town...
Should be great field position for Florida. If they score, this could be the proverbial final coffin nail.
The last time FL won the NC, OSU finished 2nd. OSU has to HOPE they will be 2nd this time.

I think the Florida players couldn't stand the thought of Joachim Noah getting in their face if they didn't win this game.
3 NCs in the last 4 years shows which conference is the best in the country. QED.
