Louisville has had good teams for a number of years though none were as good as this one. Rutgers was the pits for decades and improved vastly this last two years. Both have upgraded their schedules and can NOW beat the upgrades. Boise has generally had teams with a lot of victories but has not upgraded their schedule to the extent necessary to gain national recognition. Perhaps it will in the future.

I enjoyed watching them play and almost always root for the underdog but am not convinced they are even close to the top five teams.

I hate the fact that we had to wait 50 freakin' days to play this game, but if anyone can have a team both mentally and physically ready to play, it is Jim Tressel.

As for what happened Monday night in Arizona. I can categorically say that that was the greatest SPORTING EVENT that I have ever seen, PERIOD!!!!! Say all you want about Boise State being the little stepchild amongst the big boys, when you're up 14-0 5 minutes into the game, you're pretty damn good!!

Give OU a lot of credit for the great comeback and brief lead to boot. Down 28-10, it's real easy to mail it in and go home but they didn't!!!!!

I have never seen such brilliance as the play calling in BSU's final two scoring drives. It's as if they wasn't worried that OU had the lead. They knew they were going to score, their way!!!!!!Never forget the game tying score came on 4th AND 18!!!!!! And they only had enough time for that play, plus one more had they not scored!!!!
To put your 3 QB's into the game at the same time to score in OT defies explanation, oh and by the way your best RB isn't in for that play, but as we all know what happened afterwords.

Unless Tressel and Meyer have trick plays galore to offer and play a great game, nothing will match what we saw Monday night in Glendale.

Something tells me it might be a lower scoringgame. Maybe 21-17. Does anyone know what conference the refs will be from. I assume it won't be Big Ten or SEC refs but rather they'll be from another conference. What kind of game will they call? I'll never forget th 1994 FSU-Nebraska game. The refs literally handed Bobby Bowden his first national championship.

Lots of fun & spirit anywhere. Sure I could watch at home but there is something about "being with spirited crowd" if you cant afford/get tickets to the actual game.

Oh crap, he's playing for OSU?!?! I guess we're doomed.

I would say we did a pretty good job against the QB, who is going to be the top-rated QB in the draft, JaMarcus Russell. I think there are a lot of similarities between him and Troy Smith, so I like the Gators chances. (Although I would feel a lot better if Marcus Thomas hadn't decided that his love of weed was more important than winning a championship. Oh Well!)
