Game isn't over yet... but that would be quite an accomplishment by Florida.
OSU and Fla. both played 4 top 20 teams.
I hope not. I'd rather see a barn burner, as Boise-OK the other night was, but if OSU doesn't change their zone D they won't ever stop FL.
Stupid penalty!!!! UNGGGGH!!!!
STUPID PERSONAL FOULD PENALTY!!!
A couple of things.
I really think that extra game Florida played has been key.
Also, Urban Meyer is really good, given a large amount of time to prepare for a game.
Well...I am NOT turning in early tonight.
True, but it ended up making the games a lot closer than they should have been. The Gators need to keep pouring it on in the third here - Ohio State ain't no FSU.
Remember....
As any Canes fan will tell you, from the infamous Gator Flop and the famous "5th Down" in 1971. The Noles have owned these guys immortal souls so many times it hurts. Any Gator fan will tell you how many times this team has folded up like a cheap card table.
However, that was usually under Steve Spurrier and Charlie "Give 'Em Hell" Pell. Let's see if this team acts differently.
Expect OSU to come back and make a game of this in the 2nd half.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
True...I was refering to back to back.
All right, we won the first half. Now let's win the second half.
No Letup!!!!!
Ididn't see the Boise game but wished I had. This is really a wild game if you ask me. I love high scoring games.
Great game, dfwgator. I am so happy for Florida. I remember a Big 10 idiot on this forum telling me the other day that the SEC was "vastly overrated" and Florida's SEC championship was nothing special.
Well, Big 10 fans. Welcome to SEC and Gator football.
Go Gators!!!!!
The coach said it. They have 30 minutes left against a great team.
I am just beside myself...this is unreal!
WOOOO HOOOOO Gators!!!!
"I really think that extra game Florida played has been key. "
I think being the under dog works for them. FL defense NEVER went to sleep from what I saw this season. Offense got loosy-goosy from time to time.
Because for weeks the media has told Ohio State that they only have to show up in uniform and they'll win by default, and telling Florida that their chances are about equivalent to a donut's chance of escaping Michael Moore after being spotted.
Granted, the game would be closer if Ginn hadn't been injured, but Florida would still be winning.
Let's see how the halftime adjustments go.
Florida is the 2006 Basketball Champions. That is the official title.
Don't tell me you missed the finish of that game.
You didn't watch Boise State? Are you nuts? :) Get the DVD.
