So, with proper loading did he say this should correct itself? or do we just keep it from getting worse?
It will correct itself over time.
Becky
Well, may he do much better... and KEEP THEM ON this time :~)

Check out how the thread with the teenaged girls has evolved. Their mothers must be so proud.
Look what I found on Lance Graves website:
"19 FINALISTS from the GRAVES RANCH at the BBR World Finals in OKC! Congrats to Jason Martin riding Juma Gem wins the BBR 2D World Championship."
Sounds like Juma is still doing well.
Look what showed up at our place this morning.
The large one is an older male and the pups are both females. We have no idea whos they are.
Well, I'll be darn!
Sheesh... Just when you think it's over another teenager comes along and makes @$$ of herself. And I think that poster had been pretty mature and reasonable elsewhere in the forum... I guess immaturity is always just under the surface at that age. ;~)
Congrats on Juma :~)
Oh dear sweeties. I love a white faced old retriever!
I bet someone is looking for them.... anyplace you can put up a flyer? That's what's worked for us!
What was the story with Juma again? You raised him?
I can see what the "jammed heels" are now from the forum photo.
It's the pack dog mentality.
Was there a cat too? :')
Yes. I owned his mother (a racing QH that won alot) and had her bred to a local QH race horse. Sent Juma to a trainer when he was 2 and he did great. Got him home, he was still great. I didn't ride him enough, about once a month or so, he no longer was great, bucked me off. I never could get my confidence back on him so I sold him to a barrel trainer.
Wow...that's great:) Good for Juma, you must be so proud:)

OOHHHHHHH....:)
Good morning.
I sure hate to think they are dumped. Does that happen much where you are at?
Good luck finding their owners.
Becky
ROFLOL....good one Cindy:)
Becky
Yes, I am proud of him. Sure would like to see him run sometime...
Yeah, that photo helped me see it better too. Do you see it a bit in Harley's pictures?
I was wondering if anyone has/will check their horses for this:)??? I'm just wondering how common it is, if it is a serious thing.
This farrier told me it was like having an in grown toenail, that it can make them ouchy, if they hit it just right.
Like I said, I'm in a wait and see mode now on all the stuff this guy said...I'm not saying he's wrong, not saying he's right, just waiting to see how we progress. If Harley keeps these shoes on, the jammed heels straighten out, he doesn't get sore anywhere, at that point I will sing his praises:)
