Morning. You too. My husband and I are going to go eat breakfast and check on the horses and then I have to go to work. I have his screw gun in the car and have a bunch of stuff I need to put up.
I sure would appreciate some prayers for a friend. She has been in dialysis for nine years and has just been told she has a chance for a transplant. She should find out on February 22nd.
She has always been passed over before because since she works full time she doesn't qualify for most of the aid programs. It would sure be wonderful if she could be returned to health and back riding endurance again.
Certainly Duchess! All the best to her!
Thank you so much.

That's just awful. But that area is well populated, around Mcallen, it is too bad she could not find shelter.
Prayers up.
The best to your friend Duchess.
Goodmorning/afternoon.
Mack and I came to town, the 4-8 inches of snow is turning out to be nothing more then just rain. Doesn't look to be all that bad, altho it would be nice to have some sun. I've heard temps are now being forecast to be above freezing all next week.

But first they needed a good ~scratch~
Pony got a double back scratch :~)
Heading out, Bay decided to prove once again how he's the big cheese...
And has his women under his complete control ;~)
The frustrated reality is, he doesn't... Bay actually bucked here... I missed it by half a second.
I thought the similarity in stride was interesting in this shot... they look a little like one of those mirror image within mirror image out into infinity...
They trotted out into the sun and I thought it was over, then they ran hard and played more after I came in... They were being reckless enough that it made us nervous, the footing around here is still not very good, I thought we were gonna see someone slide right on their arse. Good to get out and go, if you're a horse and it's the first nice day in a long time!
Thank you :)
Thanks. Kepping my fingers crossed that you stay above freezing there - no more ice.
They are enjoying themselves so much :) - wouldn't it be nice if spring were coming. Sun is in and out today, overcast and cold, but NO rain, NO snow.
Feels good to get scratchy blankets off once in awhile :~)
I scratched Bay and was disgusted by how filthy and shedding he is.... Spring is coming... and I can't wait for the first bath!
I brought them up from that valley you are looking at in the previous post, about a mile away.
Oh my goodness. May it be another 18 years before it happens again.
It just looks so cold there. I expect a polar bear lounging around somewhere.
Do you have to go catch them up and lead them or can they get up to you if you called? Fences and gates to go through probably.
