Well, we made it back from town a while back... Managed to not get beat up :~)
Keeping my fingers crossed for you :)
It had been over a 100 years since it had snowed here on Christmas. I still have snow balls in the freezer.
So confusing. We had cable now we are back with ATT. (He's always changing). I read what you posted and yeah, I really only need it right now for checking mail, and down loading forms and of course FR and to check the weather. They told me to try it and if I wanted I could upgrade for no installation charge. Figured I couldn't go wrong there. That said, she told me that as my business grows I will want more speed.
Here's hoping.
Good morning. Well, today we are suppose to get above freezing.
Becky
Good morning :~)
Enough to thaw everything out? We're above freezing too, been raining a little, enough to reduce the snow to slush, it's gonna be a a mess here for awhile :~)
Glad for you. We are at 39 but looks kie we might get back in the 50's soon. Kind of funny because before this week 50 was cold:')
It was amazing, huh? Uh, what are you going to do with the snowballs? Sell 'em on Ebay? hehe
I really didn't believe it was snowing though. It was dark and it looked like sleet to me. Other freepers were telling me it was snow, but that just didn't seem possible. I couldn't believe what I saw the next morning.
It's good to hear the weather is letting up on you folks. Cold with sun here. At least it is starting to stay lighter longer.
I rubbed Bay's face the other day and got a handful of hair. During all this cold snap! The days are noticeably longer already.
At 7 a.m. here everything was coated in ice but it looks like it may melt later today.
To get hay to my horses this morning I bundled it up in a tarp and slid it down the steep driveway to the corral and then sat down and slid down myself.
But I see blue skies!
I hope there was someone there with a camera!
Smart thinking! That just goes to show you that there's more than one way to skin a cat. I just hope you don't hit any rocks. That could hurt!
Hey - any update on the fraud ad thing?
That definately shows determination. Would have loved to see a picture of you and the hay sliding down the driveway. Hope your ice melts today.
Nope, I haven't heard back from the cyberfraud unit. Maybe they don't consider it real important since I wasn't out any money. (I still bet a bunch of other people were taken to the cleaners though)
To all:
yes, I wish there had been somebody there with a camera, darn it.
Looks like the ice is going to melt, we are going to be up to 45 today, they say. It has been a really hard 3 days. Especially since I couldn't use my truck, since if I got it down the hill to carry hay/grain to the horses, I would never have got it back up.
I led them through the storm back up here to the corral in front of the house. That was a bear.
I used up all my film taking pictures of the storm and now when the sun is breaking through, making all the ice glitter so beautifully, I am out of film!
Will try to get into town later today, I have to, I am out of hay now.
She's someone they should keep an eye on for sure... but it's not that easy to track, all she has to do is come up with another name.
