I put some horse feed, and some whole corn out. I didn't think about the corn, because birds won't eat it, except jays.

They should like the corn.

Good. That will hopefully keep the little buggers from coming in your house and raiding your pantry. ;o)

(Never argue with an idiot. People watching may not be able to tell the difference.)

But they ARE cute:

Just beware when they start acting strange:

He looks like he could almost step over that field fence. That is the results of the two rescue mares. We had replaced that fence once, where they bent it over. When the pasture is all open, they leave it alone. In the spring, or when the weather is decent, we will run some high tension on the top.

Thanks.
What cool pictures of the squirrel. That camera is so awesome! You can get good action shots. Mine is way too slow. Moving objects are just a blur.
To: proud_2_B_texasgal
He's a gelding. Yes, he does look camouflaged.
But, you won't lose me on the trail..:)
To: Duchess47
Thanks.
Dirty pretty boy! His tail has grown too. The two year old stud he was pastured with, sure must have been chewing on on it. I felt bad for him this fall with the flies. He does not have the tough hide like my foundation gelding had.
To: PayNoAttentionManBehindCurtain
Those are great pictures! I laughed out loud.

Heh, Beaker, you think maybe you ought to take a bath? ;o)
Probably. :-)
Had a really good interview today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
To: Beaker
Glad to hear about the positive interview! I had forgotten that it was today. Did they say when they'd let you know something?

Good luck to you, hope you hear back!
Well, we're off to town for horse feed... It's quite a major step, neither of us has left the compound in over a week, lol.

In the next couple of days. He told me straight out that I was the candidate with the most experience, and the interview lasted an hour and twenty minutes because all that we did was sit and talk shop.

Have a good trip!
To: Beaker
Sounds promising! Hopefully that'll translate into a job offer.

He almost blends into the background of the snow and the mud with his spots on the white. When I was going out with the camera, my SIL said the same thing!
Good thing, no one has shoes on. They would be sucked off, for sure.
To: Beaker
Good luck! I hope you get the job.
To: Beaker
Crossing my fingers for you:)
