I wouldn't be surprised if we soon the ditch the dollar in favor of the Amero. We'd really have a borderless North America. I'm sure President Bush and the Open Borders Lobby can't wait for it to come true.

i'll wait for the worldo to come out so that i can use it at eurodisney and the un kofi shoppe...
when this happens, and it will, it will then appear that we americans have now capitulated to the will of the rest of the world... we can no longer expect our leaders to do what is best for us americans...
but where to go is the sad problem... there is no where the tentacles of the un cannot reach.

Looks like Prof. Corsi found some short-sellers to boost sales of his flagging book. Anybody know of these trading companies?

Are you a resident of North America?
Who would you vote for as candidates for The North American Parliament? The North American Union is envisioned to create a super-regional political authority that could override the sovereignty of the United States on immigration policy and trade issues.
a "borderless community, much like the European Union, with the U.S. dollar, the Canadian dollar and the Mexican peso being replaced by the amero."
Pastors 2001 book Toward a North American Community called for the creation of a North American Union that would perfect the defects Pastor believes limit the progress of the European Union. Much of Pastors thinking appears aimed at limiting the power and sovereignty of the United States as we enter this new super-regional entity. Pastor has also called for the creation of a new currency which he has coined the Amero, a currency that is proposed to replace the U.S. dollar, the Canadian dollar, and the Mexican peso.
The "Amero" would be equivalent of the American dollar, and the two other currencies would be exchanged at the rate in which they are then traded for the U.S. dollar. In other words, at the outset, the wealth of all three countries would be unchanged, and the power to manage the currency would be roughly proportional to the existing wealth. The three governments remain zealous defenders of an aging conception of sovereignty whereas the people seem ready to entertain new approaches.
Defining A North American Community
North Americans are ready for a new relationship. Studies over the past 20 years have shown a convergence of values, on personal and family issues as well as on public policy. An October 2003 poll taken in all three countries by Ekos, a Canadian firm, found that a clear majority believes that a North American economic union will be established in the next ten years. The same survey found an overwhelming majority in favor of more integrated North American policies on the environment, transportation, and defense and a more modest majority in favor of common energy and banking policies. And 75 percent of people in the United States and Canada, and two-thirds of Mexicans, support the development of a North American security perimeter. The U.S., Mexican, and Canadian governments remain zealous defenders of an outdated conception of sovereignty even though their citizens are ready for a new approach. Each nations leadership has stressed differences rather than common interests. North America needs leaders who can articulate and pursue a broader vision.

"... outdated conception of sovereignty ..." Yeah, right. Sounds like the Ditzy Chix's "what's with this loving your country junk?" Straight from the same playbook.

LOL! Someone in Canada made a boo boo clerical error. The first question the poll asked; Are you or have you ever wanted to be a TRAITOR to your country.

It would take a major dollar decline first...
Uh, I guess that has already started.

Jefferies International Ltd., is the International division of a smallish firm that's been around for a long time. I hadn't heard their name in a while. Barry Ritholtz, chief market strategist for Ritholtz Research & Analytics in New York City, is a guy I see on CNBC all the time.

As dialed in as this guy is I'm surprised he isn't aware that the NAU has been printing Ameros in the basement of the Citicorp building for some time now. They're waiting for the abolition of the Constitution, the formation of a one world government, headed by Kofi Annan, and the subsequent confiscation of all our vitamins and other supplements. I suppose they'll also be wanting our vital bodily fluids at some point.
It's futile to fight the tide. Time to buy Ameros (and gold) now. Did this guy ever say how we can get us some of them there Ameros?

The original duplicate or the duplicate original? Is one a copy of the other or did they evolve independently? Why is the other duplicate getting 3-4 times the response? So many questions. Corsi is certainly imaginatively evolving his conspiracy.

Corsi is either joking or he's nucking futs. We'd never hear this kind of nonsense on the diplomatic/financial level becasue so much of Latin America has already taken on the dollar as a native currency. Most places a visitor can just buy everything in dollars without exchanging beforehand. Panama doesn't even have a paper currency --everyone uses plain old US made dollars.
