I agree. Isn't that blank look annoying? Especially since it is so 9/10?

The Senate is split 50/50 (give or take one), and the House has a slim margin. There is no widespread avalanche of liberal support. The Dems ran an excellent campaign and pealed off enough seats to win. Most seats were contested by moderate dems with conserviative views on guns, abortion and foreign policy. It was well done on their part, but the election only shows a general discontent with the GOP in charge (mostly because they are deserving), and nothing more. It's not a referendum for far left policies. If the dems play it that way, they will be in trouble.

OK, now you're sounding a little crazy. Get some rest and sleep off these election blues.

Take a look at Alaska. It's getting kind of bluish up here again even though we elected an R Governor. If the Ds hadn't nominated that tired, lame old Tony again they could easily have taken that race. Fairbanks was always a Conservative bastion, but its gone Liberal this time, is now a suburb of Portland.

Geez, Bush has caved in. So depressing. Well to the naysayers who wanted to teach lessons. Don't get too excited about 2008.
