A day in court would have been a good thing, but, like Waco, I guess justice wasn't on the agenda.

Ha ha! Thank God so many of our idiotic celebrities flock to England and France. We just want your engineers and doctors. You can keep our weirdos.

"I have to be mom and and wife and there are times when I should have, you know, hung out with my kids, and I just said, 'No, I need a massage. I'm gonna do that instead. You know? And I'm gonna be selfish'."

Worthless.....amoral....talentless.A quote like this make me suspect that the African boy she just "adopted" probably would be better off having stayed in Africa.

Madonna cares about one person and one person only--Madonna.

She's just another Bush-hating, narcissistic, limousine liberal.

When Tim McGraw and Faith Hill went on their Soul2Soul II tour this year, they took their three girls with them. They didn't complain like this self-absorbed "star" is doing. T & F took every third or fourth day off to be with their kids. They worked the tour that way. Also, when touring seperately, they have a three or four day rule where they are not away from each other any longer. They know where their priorities are. Madonna is still searching for hers'.

Look at the reality of that baby's life, before she got involved. Dumped in an orphanage in a dirt-poor country with literally no hope of a decent future. Living in Madonna's home while she's off on tour or getting a massage, watched over by intelligent and literate staff, and attending good private schools would be a huge improvement. The reason Malawi generally bans foreign adoptions is that many of the parents there (and orphanage staffers) would readily sell their kids to pimps and porn traffickers for a dollar apiece.

It's quite likely that his mother died from complications related to the mutilation that is inflicted on women to make them "marriageable". And that the boy's father would have refused to marry any woman who hadn't had this done to her. At least growing up with Madonna, the little boy won't grow up to demand that women be mutilated for his "honor".

Your wild accusations are unlikely, considering that the mother had had two other children before David.

We've taken her off your hands for a few years, surely that should be enough?

The damage is often cumulative, especially as the mothers are often sewn back up into an unnatural, constricted configuration after each birth. The accumulation of scar tissue, and the resistance caused by unnaturally rigid scar tissue in an area which would normally consist of soft flexible tissue, can cause major internal problems during labor and delivery. Of course, she could also have died of an infection unrelated to mutilation, since post-natal care and antibiotics probably weren't available to her. But the number of mothers and babies killed every year as a result of mutilation practices is huge, and yet the practice continues to be very widespread. Any child who escapes from that culture early enough to avoid being brainwashed by it is lucky, even if it's via adoption by a self-absorbed pop star.

Andersen also has fond memories of his daughter, who he describes as a quiet, home-loving child and a committed Christian. "She used to go to church a lot and sang in the choir. She would walk to church and then come back and sit here - she wouldn't run about like the other children."

Do Christians mutilate women?

YES! This is not a custom connected to Islam. It's an ethnic/cultural/geographical thing. In countries where it's prevalent, it's practiced by Christians, Muslims, African tribal religions, etc. Ethiopia is only about half Muslim, with most of the rest of the population being Christian, and the mutilation rate there is 90%.
