Hello,
Hey there! Hubby just explained to me that (more than likely) nothing will happen, even if there was doctoring of the ball in the 1st.
GO CARDS!
Glad to be here, MOgirl

It does look like the umpires have been giving the pitchers a generous strike zone in both this and the LCS's. I've seen a lot of what appear to be low, and also outside, strikes. But, no complaints because they are consistent. They're doing it to both teams. Casey delivers! 3-0!

Hello,
I have no problem with umps if they are consistent, to both teams. Fair baseball is good baseball, regardless of who wins!

I think that unless the protest is made at a particular pitch- there is nothing they can do. Of course, La Russa may have made a protest.
But I agree with your hubby- nothing will (and really shouldn't) come out of it. It's been a good game-let them play.
That being said- GO CARDS!

I don't understand that.It is a good game.

3-0 Tigers, 6th. Wind chill 33. Brrrrrr. Don't hit one off the end of the bat, or the handle.

Kenny Rogers started for the Tigers, and he's been pitching a gem. But, he might be coming out next inning.
To: fatima
ok Thanks. Is Cat Walker one of their pitchers?

ok. I heard he was a pitcher for the Detroit Tigers. I used to work with him and his wife back before he got in the major leagues. They were expecting their first baby. He was going to Houston to train and we gave him a send off party. He sent us a card from Houston and thats the last I heard from him but I heard he was pitching for Detroit and he would be in the Series. He is a really nice guy.
