Perhaps I'm wrong, but when I last tried it, it said I had to have Win2003.

It works with Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) on up.

The best part of my experience with IE 7 was when I removed it.

I noticed that. LOL. I think it looks goofy. I guess we'll see.

If you aren't already using it, go to

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/releasenotes/

and download a really good browser.

What a piece of work. You can't customize the toolbars and it's still loaded with bugs. Maybe someone at Microsoft can explain to us why we need a useless address bar that extends across the entire screen and can't be removed lol. I'll stick with Firefox.

Ta-ta Explorer.

Same here, I'll stay with Firefox and only use IE 6 when it's absolutely necessary, like visiting the Windows Update site to get their latest patches that patch their previous patches. :)

Thats what did it for me,after I got it back for mom
it hung up again on this new update.

Had to uninstall to get back to 6 to get the Critical Update today. Like you I`ll use it solely for the updates that are essential.

I`m partial to Opera tho

Firefox is excellent of course.
