My money is still on Oakland having that honor next April.
I think some gamblers are very depressed this morning.
Slight comfort, I guess. Looks like it's time to start paying attention to draft projection sites.
There were two or three situations where they should have called a run play. It shouldn't have come down to Mare, especially given his declining accuracy over the past couple of years.
I really hope the Dolphins get a new kicker in the offseason, maybe on the second day of the draft. And suddenly I'm not so opposed to bringing Randy Moss in.
I don't think receiver is their weak spot.
I used to think that, but the amount of missed catches and dropped balls is amazing.
Derek Hagan--you know, the same guy who holds the Pac-10 reception record--dropped a major catch that might've won us the game. And I mean dropped: he had it in his hands, and then he just sort of let go, like the ball was hot to the touch or something. He's a good route runner, but I can't believe this is the same guy who set that record.
Then you've got Chambers, who makes the hard catches look easy and the easy catches look hard. Booker hasn't been too great this season either. The only guy doing anything is Welker, and I'm afraid he's either going to wear out or get injured at this rate.
I'm at the point where I've written the season off and want to see all the rookies start just to see what they've got. And I'd be very happy bringing in Moss in a trade involving a pick or two and Booker, making him the #1 WR, and demoting Chambers to #2.
I just don't see Al Davis giving up his star player.
Neither do I, but I certainly would not be opposed to a deal. This team's receivers are not as good as advertised.
... Man, I complain a lot. Thanks for putting up with it.
Given the salary cap hell Wannstache left us in, I don't expect much of anything anymore. I hope we can trade down in the draft, because I doubt we've got the money to pay a top five pick anything.
no doubt... what a bs week! LOL it happens every year around week 6 or week 7
I think what happens is you get teams who aren't as good or as bad as their records indicate.
yea true.. but detroit, tampa and tennesse all winning on the same week? what are the odds? :D
Maybe Cincy was overlooking Tampa and was preparing for Carolina? they have them this week at home.
That was a big loss for them because their schedule is going to get very rough. The Steelers are right back into that NFC north race.
The Bills are one of those teams that can play well one week and then just fall apart the next.
go Bears! :P
