I realize at this point this is off topic...
But I personally believe eventually Mr. Evens (snark, snark) will come out as gay and be a hero to the left. He seems to have some hangups/proclivities that people who eventually come out of the closet have. JMHO.
Ok. That and combined with the fact the gaydar is screaming.

Or, to be fair, have been very, very hurt by something. Absolutely---you are correct. But it is also very wrong to extrapolate hateful generalities from one's very personal hurt.
To: Warren_Piece
What you said is true...
But even know that logically doesn't make it hurt one bit less sadly.

The problem with you social conservatives, is that you cause more problems then you know because of your inability to accept certain facts about human nature and you think that by demonetizing it, and calling it dirty, that you somehow control it, when the reality is just the opposite. A couple of comments:
1. I'll say to you about that what I said to Hildy:
Civilization got on just fine without any significant distribution of porn for thousands of years. You're looking at one of the downsides of the information age and extrapolating it to be an integral part of the human nature. Morally bankrupt and intellectually sloppy.
2. I would add that even if porn were a good thing, it is not necessarily related to human nature any more than polyester. Thinking that it is definitely requires some sort of logical fallacy, perhaps the fallacy of presentism, or of extrapolating your own preferences to all humans.
3. If we use your logic, we shouldn't outlaw anything. Or we should emulate all the other modern democracies and severely restrict gun use, since our rate of violence is so much higher than theirs and they all make it hard to own a gun? Ready to give up your 2nd Amendment rights to back up your assertions?
Not by the availability of porn and the like, but by the social pressures and the way it is aggressively handled by being branded and scarred for life for a thought at a early age.
Oh my, please spare us the neo-Freudian pop-psych.
I don't give a hoot what you think of porn, or anything else, but when you dive into the issue like a bull in a china shop with invectives and rash judgments, you become the problem.
Once again "Freedom for me and none for thee." You pretend to speak on the nature of freedom but you can't even figure out that the post that started all this was an invitation for Suzy to comment? Wow, somebody said "I like porn in my marriage," she said "Wow, that's bad" and you call that "a bull in a china shop?" Can you even read? They have volunteers who can teach you.

I completely agree, although it is a very human thing from which none of us are immune.
I also have my personal opinions regarding pornography, but as a conservative I also realize that people have choices and what they do as adults in their own homes or even dedicated places of business is not my concern.
I do wish, however, it wasn't seeping into the mainstream and so difficult to stay away from. Putting "Porn Star" on a twelve year old's T-shirt can NOT be good for society, even from a secular point of view. That would be my personal soapbox.

I just wanted to say that yours is a brilliant post...correctly identifying the related sin involved. Nicely done.
I have to say that, while Warren correctly identifies an additional sin that is often overlooked with regards to porn - I don't think he's identified the WHOLE of it. I'm ready to be corrected, however.

Evans requests child custody, possession of Franklin home and child support.
You all know that I'm a big fathers rights supporter and want a more fair hearing for men in family court, but after everything this guy has done, I think this claim is justifiable on her part.

My wife and I enjoy an occasional heterosexual adult porn movie. Some of the scenes are hilarious. Neither of us has turned into mass murderers, and we are going on 32 years. What! You've watched porno and you haven't turned into a raving, cheating, child-molesting, scum-sucking dirtbag? How dare you watch porno and still love your wife?!

I've struggled with Matthew 5:28 - in context with the rest of the chapter, Jesus is basically teaching us that even if we follow the 10 commandments to the 'T' - we ain't all that. We still are sinning, because I'm sure even Mother Teresa lusted, or was envious, or cried "you Fool!" from time to time.
But maybe you're right. My main point is the TO A WOMAN, cheating is becoming emotionally attached to another person, regardless of a sex act. To God (not that I would try to speak for Him), it's got to be no good from any angle.
Heck, now that I'm a Dad of a daughter, I can't even go to a Hooters anymore; I can't NOT look at the girls as somebody's daughters. Kind of ruins the effect. Slowly, surely, God is doing his work in me, and one day I'll be totally rid of the wretched weakness. But I ai'nt there yet.
My main point was to let women know that men do compartmentalize, and that their men have no intention of running away with Jenna Jameson, they don't love her, they probably don't even like her. But they WILL look at her. Still a sin, just a different sin.

Good on you. To hear some of the libertines on this
Internet forum you'd think that any comment on morals is the equivalent to the Gestapo coming to their house, burning their porn and making them watch Veggie Tales all weekend.
