Anyone associated with this waste of taxpayer dollars should be out of a job.
I agree. You are incapable. You know how to post tangentially-related documents, though . . . I'll grant you that.
Agree. However, this $39.6 million is for "free trade". Strange, I couldn't find this article on the USTR website. I think all this comes from the U.S. Treasury "hush fund".
Don't tempt me...
Again I agree with you. This money is down the toilet. It is such a joke as the OAS even has a fund to stop corruption of the elite elected. Jail is not good enough so they will be given money for stealing.
Why not send Cintra down there to build the roads and infrastructure? According to free traders, Cintra does not need extra funding other than the banks. Most of the countries citizens speak Spanish so it should be a breeze for Cintra. LOLOLOL
Who me? I'd never tempt you, unless ...........
And some wonder why distrust of the federal government is at an all-time high...
These dudes have whitewashed themselves. They believe in the "Rule of law" and their major success is "remittances". You notice there is no mention of the sucker, the American taxpayer.
This is an excerpt on how democracy is defined.
...and the challenge before us centers on what former Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) president Enrique Iglesias calls "better states/more markets," that is, efficient government institutions and more economic freedom to deliver the benefits of democracy to all. In the end, democracy is about "delivering the goods."
Life must be beautiful when you wear blinders and can't see the truth.
It is at an all time high and will just get higher and higher if this keeps up. I wonder how many layers of bureaucrats will have to be hired for all this free trade and related matters such as the SPP, the OAS and other alphabet groups? I wonder how many "ministers and inspectorettes" with full benefits and retirement the U.S. taxpayer will have to support?
It sure is quite, isn't it?
quite=quiet
It is all so out of control that it is going to take some very strong remedial action to put a stop to it. We have a federal government run amok.
These congress critters and the presdient have way too much money to spend. When they run out of money they just borrow putting the whole country in debt for their at the moment whim.
How many American taxpayers does it take to make $1 billion? Maybe using the range of $60,000 to $100,000 middle class.
