"Meanwhile, 12,000 NAFTA trucks cross the TexMex border every day."
Well that explains it Bennie. You're just on the wrong side of the argument...again! Suggestion, join the opposition and lay yourself out on the road. I'm sure all those Mexican truck drivers will stop for a guy wearing their products. You'll be guaranteed to be a hit.

That 12,000 includes El Paso, which, while it is a Texas city, it is way out there, probably closer to you than to me.
To: Kimberly GG
We're just not accustomed to seeing it from those who usually bum rush these threads accusing us of tinfoil hat conspiracies in an effort to silence the discussion. Good Lord, that is tiresome . . . your "opponents" try to silence the thread by bumping it?

Maybe NAFTA was such a failure that we are masking the REAL figures regarding manufacturing. Like I said, that's what the Kerry campaign and the DNC tried to suggest during the '04 election season. Everyone that understands how the statistics are tabulated simply laughed. No one but the paleos and other 3P malcontents fell for it.

Irony would be that the Mexican mega port is built, the NAFTA superhighways are built. Then right when they are about to swing into action (year 2010) the USDollar crashes due to endless trade deficits, and we can't afford jack from China. No, the irony would be that, if the above occurs, all the protectionists' wailing, gnashing of teeth, and rending of garments will be proven to have been unnecessary.
That's what makes these threads so amusing from a rhetorical standpoint: if dennisw's prediction comes true, then nearly everything dennisw said is irrelevant.
To: Ben Ficklin
"There have been TTC threads ar FR for several years now. But somehow you didn't know anything about it til corsi came along. This means that you are poorly informed."I do not recall seeing those threads, and it is certainly possible I missed them. However, Corsi's comments got me interested enough to start looking it over. I make no apologies for arriving late to your TTC party.
"The article on Arizona's intentions on the Mexican port...In fact, dip wad corsi knows nothing about it. He is not any better informed than you are."
So far, on the record, Corsi's credibility on what the needle nosed feds are attempting to end run around the political process is far more impressive than any of your pathetic little defensive squeeks on the issues.

You know, for all your misgivings about "thread-crapping," you are quite good at it. What was that, something on the order of twenty photos of bricks?

No, the irony would be that, if the above occurs, all the protectionists' wailing, gnashing of teeth, and rending of garments will be proven to have been unnecessary. Why? Because a USD crash is your way of dealing with outlandish trade deficits. You favor such calamitous adjustments rather than prudent policies to lower our trade deficits

Speaking of "the record," Corsi hasn't earned any credibility on this subject. Yet. And a significant portion of his speculation on the subject has been proven inaccurate.
In any case, the Commerce Dept. only responded to his FOIA request a few short weeks ago . . . when he informs us what he's found, then we all can make a decision on his credibility.

Because a USD crash is your way of dealing with outlandish trade deficits. I cannot find any file on my hard-drive titled "your way," or "my way," for that matter. As soon as I find a hard copy, I'll get back to you.

"American sovereignty should be every true American's CONCERN, including theirs."It's way down their list of concerns, if it's on the list at all. Their OBL posting records show little, if any, interest in the issue.

"I don't recall seeing any of those threads"
That's because they weren't about conspiracies. It was actually a small group participating but all were well informed. Thats why that group has a lot of contempt for the mis-info being spread.
FWIW, those threads atay in "news" and these threads are moved to "chat".
No, Corsi has no credibility because the feds have nothing to do with TTC 35. It is a state project, which will get some small funding from the feds. Even the second highway, which has a federal designation of I 69, will mostly depend on Texas getting it built. And of course, over the 50 year span of the total project, Texas will have to build all of the other roads in the project.
There are many things that Corsi doesn't know about it or is wrong about it.

And I see you are busy setting up a strawman with which to ensare the unwary. Isn't working for you.

And we stand in awe of your talent for putting words in our mouths as the foundation for your unsupported conclusions.

I was wondering if could get a level-headed response to this: Punta Colonet is in Baja California, yet none (?) of the NAFTA Superhighways WND has been going-on about for weeks (meaning that we've mostly been hearing of Texas) connect there. So is there another NAFTA Superhighway that will be constructed eastward through Mexican territory to Texas, or is the connection to America's "heartland" mentioned in the article through southern California or one of the southwestern States?

Your comment would be funny if it appeared on a thread where you, and other True Conservatives (apparently) did not congratulate each other for posting leftist propaganda.
