In most cities, Martin Luther King Blvd, street, avenue or what have you, is a good place to stay away from, especially at night. You might run into the likes of this guy, or the guys who shot him, and you don't want to do that.

Also notice that he had a "companion" rather than a "wife".

And I'll bet she wasn't the mother of all, or even most, of his offspring.

Well the French Quarter is above sea level too, as for the rest of NO, let it go the way of St. Josephs, FL, one time territorial capitol of Florida, hit by a hurricane 160 years ago.

Nawlins, just - FILL IT IN.

N.O. is a bowl below sea level that billions are being spent upon wastefully in futile attempt to preserve what is, in effect, a massive cofferdam next to the Mississippi river holding thousands of perverts, felons, and deviants, all crawling around looking for fun-seeking victims to exploit and, when they run out of them, they turn on each other, as in this sad case.

Since the place is SINKING several inches each year, even filling in the 'bowl' with, say, blocks of recycled trash mixed in cement IS FUTILE!

Except for the port, ditch N.O. Abandon it. Let the delta flood to preserve the river delta WETLANDS. Save America BIG BUCKS.

"I have better things to do than google Larmondo Flair Allen."

Like casting casual aspersions on people on your first day at a forum?

It's just as well you do - you won't be here long with that attitude...

Chris Rock doesn't have to point it out. I'm in real estate and I can confirm that in any city it runs through the worse real estate in the city. Politicians had to name streets after MLK after the whole holiday thing happened. They named streets which were already in some of the worst areas - ie, the black concentrated areas. Nobody anywhere else in any city wants to have a street named after MLK and there is only political benefit to naming a street which is used and surrounded by those who think its a good thing.

As far as this dead drug dealer from New Orleans. Gosh, this guy could be the posterboy for the reasons that N.O. was a cesspool. And the self-destructive behavior of naming your kids unpronouncable and unspellable names is like naming your son Sue. You might as well sign them up for welfare at age 4 since you are pretty much condemning their lives to it by making them sound like comedy routine characters.

That guy could have owned vending machines for all anyone knows.

True, vending machine owners make a lot of enemies when their machines rip off kiddies, and he WAS shot to death, it fits.

At this science website, http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2000/01/000121071306.htm

you can read that N.O. is sinking 3 feet per century and that, on average, the entire city is 8 feet below sea level right now. There's not much reason to save the 'Stench Quarter' since all its' 'amusements' are movable and do not depend upon location to exist.

The insane academics in the vicinity want to spend 14 Billion to save the Louisiana coast when just letting the 'sippi flood would do it. Go figure.

Let's all celebrate the rich diverse culture of welfare, sex, rape, murder, violence, drugs, prostitution, child abuse, ignorance and disease that thrives on America's city streets named Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Viva New Orleans !

Then there were the twins - Lexus and Mercedes

And the twins - Kendell and Jackson

And the triplets - Yesterday, today, and tomorrow

Need to be a little less naive, real easy to read between the lines on that article. Pity the poor taxpayers for this nonsense.

Please place me on your "let's all laugh at black people" ping list.

To the extent that anyone is "laughing" I would say it's over the description of his profession in the obit of the newspaper and the irony of the "victim" being shot on MLK Blvd.

Are you insinuating that the behavior and lifestyle of young Larmondo is indicative of the behavior of blacks in general?

I didn't see a story about a black person I saw a story about a drug dealing dirt-bag.

The real question is why did you see this as an attack on blacks?

Didn't Chris Rock point out that when a city has a street named after Martin Luther King, it's always in the worst part of town?

He also pointed out that Black History Month is February, the shortest month.

I don't just assume people are drug dealers because they have 9 kids with unusual names.

Perhaps you should develop some street knowledge then, before running down those that have it.

Have you ever heard Miss Shirely on Ken Hamblin's radio show?

Here daughter "Done dropped another one", and she has to go shopping to the drugstore and grocery to find her grandchild a name.

She comes home and the child's name is Chlamydia Velveeta.
