Also prayers for the brave police dog
I just heard the press conference. The K-9 officer and his dog were killed. One other officer was shot in the leg. The perp is still at large.
double heart break
Do dogs have immortal souls? If not, what are you praying for? Just curious. I'm not versed in theology.
go away, that is so inappropriate
Meantime, my heart aches for the pain and suffering of all involved.
CSI would have already identified and caught him by now. This is unacceptable. It's been over 4 hours. Law & Order would have already tried and convicted him. Others would already have killed him. (/sarcasm)
per CNN:
Deputy Matthew Williams, a 12-year veteran of the department, and his canine officer were both shot to death, Judd said. Deputy Doug Spears was shot in the leg and was expected to make a full recovery.
I see we're sadly on similar topics today ... coast to coast.
Please add me to the updates ping, if you will.

If so, that's absurd. Killing a man is murder. Killing a dog may be tasteless and evil, but it is not murder. Any attempt to equate a dog, regardless of what role it has been trained to fill, with a human is abhorrant and idiotic. It is liberalism run amok. It is PETA think of the first class.
You go away. You posted the comment. I asked for clarification. Rather than answer a civil question you pop up with a liberal-style ad hominum attack. I shall not go away, but perhaps you should if you can't sustain a civil discourse. Which, after all, is the whole point of FR.
Good day.
You are a jerk. You obviously misunderstand FR. I have no patience for people that would post a comment/question like that on a thread like this. You have chosen the wrong person to attack. Take your ridiculous comments somewhere else 'Jack Black'.
You are the one engaged in name calling and rude responses to simple questions. I understand FR quite well, thanks very much. I've been here since 1998. I'll keep my comments here and I'll continue to point them at you if I feel like it. Get over it.
