Now that I think about it we still also have that SB loser not making the playoffs the following year curse still in play. I think they'd have to lose Hasselbeck as well in order to continue that one.

As long as he's not holed up in a hotel room somewhere, sure, why not?

It's still in play yes, but I'm pretty sure that the Seahawks will win the west.

They are 3-0 and it seems to me that everyone else in that division should be 1-2 or 0-3...but I think that by some miracle St. Louis is 2-1

Did you catch Kurt Warner's post game press conference? He was about to go Bill Clinton on the reporters.

nah I missed it....

The Cards could make a run at Seattle given their offensive talent. However, looking at their schedule (next 3 weeks are at Atlanta, vs. KC and vs. Chicago), they could very well be 1-5....

But then their schedule gets monumentally easy...

The rumor now is Leinart may be starting soon. Ditto for VY.

Warner had a great 1st Quarter in the first game and has been stinking up the stadium ever since. He almost single-handedly lost the game against St. Louis yesterday (he threw directly to a Rams player in the endzone--some think he forgot he didn't play for them anymore; and he fumbled in the redzone in the closing minutes of the game when a FG would have won it).

I feel bad for him, but his playing days may be over.

Does anyone believe he will only be out a short length of time with a broken foot. Sometimes it takes a year before recovery. Frank Thomas missed most of two years and he wasn't trying to escape defenders or carry 240 lb linebackers.

Looks to me like he is done for the year.

Depends where the break is on the foot. If it was a relatively clean break, the bone can actually be stronger than it was pre-break, but I'm with you, I find it hard to believe that he will be an effective runner anytime soon.

Yeah, that would have been NY's head coach.

Not too bad for a guy who was stocking shelves.

True, a rapid rise and and a slow fall. But he's made his mark.

The bones in the foot are not like those elsewhere since for a running back they must take a tremendous amount of pounding.

You're nuts.

Seattle and Vegas win this one, big time.

Seattle didn't need Alexander to jump ahead of the Giants on Sunday 42-3.

And they won't need him beat da Bears, 35-24.

Chicago looked good and Seattle obviously didn't have there best game.

I hope we see these two play again this year. It appears as if the Bears have peaked too early. It will be hard to maintain this level for the rest of the season.
