No question in my mind Bonnie Alba's defined present conditions accurately. While it hasn't been kept a state secret the "Security and Prosperity Partnership" certainly hasn't gotten much attention which I believe is exactly what the people involved in pushing this thing ahead want. NAFTA was a leg of it and the fact that George Bush the elder's administration had stated pushing it and the Clinton admin. got it passed, and now GW's admin is obviously pro open borders tells me this is a bipartisan sellout of America !!!

The magicians are busy keeping American eyes focused on sleight-of-hand tricks. Much in the media makes little sense. Divisive political games hold center stage which have nothing to do with the good of our country.

I've been saying this for years and the rise of the RINOs only confirms this...that there is no essential difference between Democrats and Republicans. They exist only to perpetuate this partisan bickering to keep the attention of the sheep focused on the issues that THEY want us to be preoccupied with. Smoke and mirrors, nohing more.
Not the issues that really matter. The issues that they need us to ignore so they can maintain the status quo that keeps them in the game, in power and on the gravy train. True tax reform, The Federal Reserve, property rights, etc...etc. Hell, even something as simple as jury nullification.

There are vast diferences between Liberals and Conservatives but the two major parties do not truly represent either of those ideologies.
Today's Democrats are not Liberals they are Socialists and today's Republicans are not true Conservatives they are...well, the jury is still out on that one.

I'm done ranting. I'll sit down now.

People are disconnected from reality.

Chrysler Expects Even Bigger Loss in Third Quarter

In the meantime, people sing "Everything is beautiful, in it's own way . . " Stock market is going up. Nothing to see here. No time to dally. Gotta run for work. Catch me on my cell phone later. Gotta hurry to get on the freeway before 7 am. Otherwise, I'll be an late for work. And I've gotta call my broker on the way in. I've got a hot stock tip. Gotta go, gotta, gotta.

Maybe economists need to learn something about patriotism and Americanism.

Gee if you read your history you know that highway systems are built in part to unify territories and enable mass migration.

Why do you suppose they want to build highways that hook up The US with mexico? Remember Cornyns bill that paid for building a highway system in Mexico with our tax money?

Wages can only increase in proportion to productivity.

The US is said to be experiencing a huge increase in productivity, all the while wages and benefits are declining. Why is that?

Maybe...and when they write about patriotism and either get things obviously wrong or hyperbolically misrepresent the facts you would be right to criticize them for it.

In the meantime however this woman clearly has no idea what she's talking about.

It's not a choice between economics and patriotism. Ignoring economics is like trying to ignore gravity. You can pretend it isn't there, and for the first few thousand feet after you leave the airplane you might be able to convince yourself you were right, but eventually, you will suffer for your ignorance, intentional or otherwise.

Reality cannot be ignored away.

While I'm pretty sure I disagree with your effect, I certainly agree with your cause. Few and far between are the politicians who are anything but thieves and liars interested in nothing more than increasing their own power and control over the voters; for whom they have no feeling whatsoever but contempt.

Maybe corporate boards of directors ought to learn more about patriotism and Americanism. But they only think about profits. Corporate officers only think about millions in bonuses, stock options and golden parachutes. 13,546 U.S. companies have been sold to foreign interests since 1980. Most have been sold during the last six years.

In increments, we will transition into a North American Union with open borders which will someday include merged economies, one currency, and most probably, a melding of governments

If you want to see a brutal civil war in this country, try replacing the Constitution without a HUGE Constitutional Convention. The states will NEVER go for this.

Employer costs for employee compensation? That doesn't prove that compensation has gone up, only the cost to the employer for providing it.

The Border states will. The Borders states governors, include the governors of the Mexican states on our border. Our government funds these meetings. They are fully on board with the NAU.
