Do they maybe think you already got it?
Ungh...I've been rewriting the same thousand words for the past three days. I *have* to let it go. But it completely defines one of the two main characters, so I don't know how to.
I did see that coming.
But that's it for the season? What the heck? Lets hope they go back to the drawingboard with the storyline.
I'm confused by this being a season finale. Didn't it just start in October??
No spoilers, by the way - still have two hours to go here!
*fingers in ears*
Will we be seeing you here in a bit for LOST? :~)
So long as I'm allowed! ;-)
They're breaking it up into "Fall" and "Spring" seasons, like SciFi did with Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Atlantis a couple of seasons ago... show 10 episodes, go on hiatus, return a few months later with another 10 episodes.
"Lost" will return in February, new episodes with no repeats.
Certainly... I'm all messed up and only just realized it was Wednesday! :~)
I spent all day thinking it was Thursday.
I hate it when that happens.
Okay, just a reminder, I haven't seen LOST.
That said, this PC is driving me nuts. I can get to every option on Google ~except~ images. The page times out.
When I try to search images via Comcast, it let's me, but the images won't load.
I've run all the scans, etc. that I know to.
Thoughts?
(I'm gonna have to start all over, ain't I?)
This is a really wild shot, but...any chance some program or spyware has changed your proxy settings? You can check - in IE go to Tools/Internet Options, then click on the Connections tab, and then on the LAN Settings button in the lower third of that screen. See if the "use a proxy server" box is checked - for Comcast, it shouldn't be. I'd also uncheck "Automatically detect settings" on that screen, but that's just me.
This probably isn't it, since usually incorrect proxy settings mean you can't get *anywhere*, but...
Couple more...when was the last time you reset your cable modem?
Have you changed network settings on your PC for any reason?
Huh...what's going on? Part of the US bogged down?
No trouble from here...
Well, Rosie's suggestions didn't work. (but thanks)
Maybe it's an image thing on Google. I'm thinking Comcast uses them as a search engine too.
But if I search for a website and it has graphics, they load. Just can't load the image search page.
I'm not going to worry about it anymore tonight.
'night.
Thanks. That makes me feel better.
g'nite
