Photoshop 7 is known to work with Linux (assuming right config / distro).

I'd rather have an STD.

OK, Microsoft can arrange for that, too...

I don't deny anyone who would like to be on it.

Yes you do, if they debunk the open source lies constantly being posted. Thankfully we're not seeing as many lately, so maybe you could add me back.

photoshop 7 works 1/2 a*sed with linux...
like the bottom of the layers palate does not have the icons for delete layer and such, and its not very stable either...

What 3d programs do you use in Linux?

Are you talking the design or the rendering? Because Pixar's RenderMan is available for Linux.

AHHHHHH! GIMP is NOT a replacement for photoshop!

Do you really think everyone needs photoshop? If I did, I'd run it in Wine or Crossover, but I don't really need to do anything with graphics that I can't do with GIMP.

ILM uses GIMP. Guess they aren't really much into graphics.

like i said, photoship with wine or crossover 1. it isnt very stable and 2. only very 7.0 works NOT CS2 and 3. parts of v7 are not available like the bottom of the layers palate..

Gimp is ok but NOT as powerful a photoshop CS2 by a LONG shot.

No, I don't--though I knew you'd chime in here. You were voted off the list by everyone else. Afterwards, I actually sent a FRmail to the list asking if it would be OK to add you back on.

I was pretty soundly chewed out for asking that question.

Don't try to blame others, your original statement remains another falsehood.

what was the problem? I use XP over Vista also only because ATI doesn't have drivers/software for my All-In-Wonder Video card... they have the video driver but no TV support in vista it seems... I didnt have any problems with it though other than that... maybe you need a new computer, Vista does have higher hardware requirements than Vista does...

Also, did you check the MD5SUM of the ISO file that you downloaded and then burn it at 1-2x?
Dont blame MS for a subpar download/burn on your part.
