They have these silly voiceovers right before the commercials. Asking where is so-an-so or whatever. They just showed a shot of Al Gore and the voiceover guy says "Is Al Gore moving?". LOL!

They don't call him Al Bore for nothing.

From the neck up, she looks like the star of the old horror movie, "The Brain That Wouldn't Die."

Panic at the Disco remind me of the annoying theater geek kids in high school.
So does this mean both Christina and Madonna go empty-handed tonight?

She did the black trash bag in a video years ago. No fresh ideas, huh Missy?

I think the Chili Peppers (who had by far the best video of the year to me) also went empty handed. I can't believe Panic! At the Disco/Fall Out Boy won. I can't tell the difference between these two bands songs. No wonder they are so in love with each other.

Yeah they're all cookie cutter versions of each other to me. Like boy bands that play instruments.

Yes, Judy was one of the greatest singers ever.
I saw the show too last night. Always knew what a great voice she had but didn't realize she could dance so well. No wonder Liza was a great singer/dancer also.
Liza's voice carries many similarities to her mom's, also even her expressions.

I was channel surfing and caught J-Lo (although I didn't recognize her with her head bandage), show the nominees for " best video ".
What a sorry lot to choose from.

Goth was 25 years ago (and the spooky kids with black eyeliner listened to bands like Sixouise and the Banshees, The Smiths, The Cure...). Yet none of those bands have EVER significantly charted in the US.
These new acts are flash in the pan corporate "indie" flavor of the month crud pitched by Pitchfork.
