As for moving her body, I would have done the same thing. It is an instinctive reaction. You see your beautiful baby lying dead in a basement! The first thing I would have done was scoop my baby into my arms. It may not have been the smartest thing to do in terms of an investigation, but what parent would be thinking about that at the moment?

And doing that destroyed any forensic evidence that could have positively pointed to an unknown party. "Not the smartest thing to do" is an understatement.

"And doing that destroyed any forensic evidence that could have positively pointed to an unknown party. "Not the smartest thing to do" is an understatement." Agreed. But if someone had told me John's immediate reaction to the sight of his little girl lying on the basement floor was, "Don't anybody touch anything -- we need to preserve forensic edvidence," I would have found that very odd. Who thinks like that when confronted with such a shock? That sounds like the reaction of a calculating man who knew what he was going to find. The way he did react -- immediately grabbing his little girl -- seems like a perfectly normal, instinctive reaction. I'd think his behavior would be more suspect if he were thinking about "preserving crime scenes" rather than his child at that moment --- unless he worked in a field like law enforcement.

Actually, the man who started the polygraph department at the CIA reviewed the polygraph that they took and said that it was valid (they passed). The examiner was also highly qualified and known to be ethical.

Its been about 2 years but what the heck.

John and Patsy Ramsey did not kill their daughter, only and idiot would believe that after looking at all the evidence.

Google Lou Smit. A real criminal investigator, unlike those keystone cops in Boulder, who examined the scene, the evidence and came to that conclusion.
