I'm not really as impressed with Ozzy winning all the immunity challenges as I am with Yul manipulating all the people.

Ozzy is a surfer and a gymnast - each of those challenges was perfect for him and I imagine that's why he was cast in the first place.

The manipulation of the survivors was far more difficult in my opinion.

I was just thinking after I watched the final show that one of the things that wasn't done this season that I'm pretty sure has been done in every other season is the old challenge where you chop someone's rope, or break someone's tile, or whatever - to identify where someone stands in the tribe.

Of any season of Survivor, this was the season I think it was most needed and it really could have mixed it up when they were down to eight survivors or even seven.

It's interesting that they're going to have two immunity idols this next season - perhaps then, for once, someone will actually use theirs.

My Tivo didn't record the 2nd hour of the show.
I'm bummed.

I'm sure you can watch it on CBS.com on innertube.

I saw Yul and Ozzy on CBS this morning. Yul got his big cardboard check, and Ozzy was lovingly stroking it..Maybe Ozzy will find a career in acting-besides on the Playboy channel with his porn gig.

The following is an excerpt of an interview Ozzy did with some online blogger that calls himself "The Slug". In it he admits to his "colorful" past.

The Slug: I know you have some, uh, acting experience. Will you be starring in anymore Playboy series?

Ozzy Lusth: No. That was me being young and stupid.

The Slug: Did you know that would come out when you agreed to do "Survivor"?

Ozzy Lusth: Oh, yes. Of course. The whole thing was me being stupid and needing money. I just didn't really care too much. I didn't ever plan on being on "Survivor" or in the public eye. I made a stupid mistake, and it's something I'm not really proud of. I think since then I've grown and changed a lot. It's a past chapter in my life. I'm definitely not planning on doing any more of those in the future.

He impressed me because even though he had the hidden immunity, he never needed to use it.

He used it the entire game. He just never had to play it at tribal council.

Did anyone notice...wasn't he wearing it around his neck at the final tribal council? Some kind of signal to the jury?

Well folks, it took them long enough but the SeeBS website finally posted the Jury’s votes. (And thanks to a Sucks poster by the screen name of “Psprecinctprez”, here are the transcripts of those votes:

Brad (votes Yuuuuuleee): I don't know how to spell your name but you have been a class act since day one, I believe in you and I believe what you stand for, and I wish you luck from here on out.

Jonathan (votes Yul): I've always been a brains over brawn, brains over beauty kind of person, I admire all of you tremendously but Yul outplayed you all, and Ozzy, your time will come my friend, you're 25 years old, I expect great things from you. Becky, I know you are going to be fantastically happy and successful in your life. Yul, you have my vote, congratulations and I hope you win. Peace out.

Candice (votes Yul): (she pretends to write a long name) Yul, I'm voting for you tonight with no reservations. You played this game better than I think anybody who has ever has played this game. You did everything right at every moment, and came out with your integrity in tact. Um, no reservations about this vote, congratulations, you're amazing.

Nathan (votes Ozzy): ::winks:: I'm proud of you dawg.

Rebecca (votes Ozzie): I never got the chance to know you but I loved the way you played the game, and I hope you do exactly what you say if you win. Go back to school because you are extremely bright and I wish you all the best.

Sundra (votes Yul): Ummm Yul, I think you are an amazing guy and you're tried and true which I always respected and um, yeah I just knew I could always trust you and in this game that means hella a lot and I totally admire how you played this game strategically, I learned so much from you and was in total awe of your intellect and I look forward to having a great friendship with you and um, and I know you will appreciate and honor to have a million dollars and I respect that, enjoy enjoy.

Jenny (votes Ozzie): Ozzy I think you played an amazing physical game. You just were phenomenol and I admire your competitiveness and I think that you underestimated yourself as far as how you outwitted and used strategy, but I admire you if for every aspect for in how you outlasted this game, good luck to you in the future.

Adam (votes Yul): I think Ozzy pleaded his case the best tonight at Tribal Council but I made a promise with Yul that I would vote for him in this situation if it arise for voting Jonathan ahead of me, so I haven't broken any promises yet and I'm not going to start now.

Parvati (votes Oscar): The ultimate competitor, um the intensity and the passion, and the fire that you've brought to this game completely captivated me and I feel so lucky and so blessed to play side by side with you for as long as I did. I really appreciate getting to know you and everything you did out here, I think you played your heart out and you totally deserve to win this game.

Take care, and I’ll see you all next season,

Hey Cuz ... I've stayed away from the thread the last few days because I had taped the final episode and didn't watch it until last night.

Just wanted to thank you again for an excellent Survivor thread. Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Year.

Thanks for the thread!

Yul was wonderful and I'm so pleased he won. We had him picked from day one and he never let us down like so many others have.

Ozzy never should have been brought to the end. Ick, he's so scuzzy and that line about doing good with the $$$ and going back to school would never happen. His only saving grace was keeping his mouth shut and not getting into anyone's face.
