T H E S U S P E N S E I S K I L L I N G M E (not!)
Looks like he might have went down that "white tunnel thingy" and is now inside the terminal.
LOL, it's like watching a train wreck ... hard to look away.
Are they holding the other passangers until Karr deplanes? I'd be po'd.
Perv on parade. I want him to be the murderer.
No, they let everyone else deplane and Customs boarded to clear him.
Me too. For the Ramsey's sake....let this be over.
Call me skeptical.
CNN says he is coming down those stairs that those guys are walking up.
We can always wait up til he gets to the LA jail.......yawn....
I am more hopeful than anything else.
His big moment ... 15 minutes.
I think he is already off the plane
I keep switching back and forth from FNC to CNN --- if I miss this....
he is off the plane
Odd case, that's for sure.
The ransom note for starters.
Well, cripes. We are not going to see him according to the CNN guy.
Karr arrives at Los Angeles airport
Suspect in slaying of JonBenet Ramsey flown to U.S. from Bangkok
Monday, August 21, 2006 Posted: 0429 GMT (1229 HKT)
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- A suspect in the 1996 death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey arrived early Monday on a flight from Thailand to the United States, where he will be questioned by investigators.
Karr sat in business class for the 15-hour flight and dined on paté and prawns, drinking a beer and French chardonnay, The Associated Press reported. (Full story)
The airliner touched down at Los Angeles International Airport about 9:20 p.m. PT (12:20 a.m. ET Monday).
...
Karr also passed the time by reading "The Secret Garden," a children's book about an orphaned young girl who goes to live with her reclusive uncle in the English countryside, the officials said.
They said he was concerned about his appearance and requested a shirt and tie in order to dress "like a schoolteacher" for his departure.
...
Karr was accompanied on his Thai Airways commercial flight by agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement en route to Los Angeles International Airport.
Also on the plane was an investigator for the district attorney in Boulder County, Colorado, where Ramsey was killed.
Jeff Copp, special agent in charge for Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Denver, Colorado, said ICE's role in Karr's handling should end as soon as the suspect arrives in Los Angeles.
An ICE spokesperson said Karr would be taken directly to Boulder but did not specify who would do that.
"That's news to us," Boulder County District Attorney spokeswoman Carolyn French told CNN.
French said Colorado was planning to extradite the 41-year-old former grade-school teacher from California.
She said his arrival at Los Angeles International Airport would trigger an extradition hearing based on a murder warrant issued in Colorado.
Karr would appear before a judge in Los Angeles no sooner than Monday and, if he so desired, an attorney would be assigned to his case, French said.
If Karr waives his rights and agrees to extradition, then Boulder authorities would have to transport him to Colorado within 10 days of the hearing.
But if Karr decides to fight extradition, the process could last weeks, she said.
French said that federal authorities' responsibilities also would end once the suspect arrives in Los Angeles.
The whole damn case is sickening.
They wisked him off the plane before everyone else. The reporters did not get any shots. They will not see him now for sometime.
LOL>.... they got him off the plane without the reporters getting pictures of him.... poor poor Mr. Karr
We missed it?
