Weren't Fleet and Priscilla White the friends of the Ramseys who were in the house when John Ramsey carried JonBenet's body up from the basement? Are they claiming they think the Ramseys did it?

Wasn't the brother also heard saying "What did I do?" or something like that?

You only liked him in serious roles, then?

He's lying. This whole thing is going to fall apart within days and the Colorado DA knows it.

Yes, and the Boulder authorities are going to look even more incompetent. It'll be interesting to hear the spin as they try to extricate themselves from this mess.

I had the same thoughts, that this creep is a willing (and possibly paid) "suspect". He has a sick little smirk on his face that makes me think he's enjoying every minute of this. I still think one of the Ramsey's did it. Karr was writing to Patsy - what about? Patsy shared the letters with investigators and John. And now Patsy is gone, and John can put the past behind him, and make sure it stays behind him. Because the crime gets pinned on Karr. There's enough circumstantial evidence to make it stick - Karr happens to look like the psychic's vision of the suspect and his obsession with the Ramsey case gives the impression that he IS guilty. But Karr is a little too eager to be charged with the crime. His ex-wife and brother both say the charge is ridiculous. I think they're not just telling the investigation that it's crazy, but they're telling Karr, "are you nuts? You weren't even there!" I think he's made crazy "confessions" like this before - for the attention - and when things get too hot he eventually admits that he lied. Look at him. He's enjoying every minute of this. He's a narcissistic pervert. How convenient for the Ramsey's.

Forget about Human Rights Watch, I'm sure NAMBLA with the ACLU's help will be defending this pedophile, possible child killer all the way to the death chamber.

I'm assuming it was his communication with the college professor in Boulder that revealed his whereabouts. I can't help but think the DA's office in Boulder isn't stupid enough to botch an arrest in this high profile case. They've got more on this guy then mear speculation.

Also, considering California has open warrants for his arrest, if the Boulder DA didn't have anything, or enough to arrest they'd contact CA to make the arrest and after that took place questioned him about the JonBenet case. Instead, they went for the arrest.

He has a sick little smirk on his face that makes me think he's enjoying every...

Listen carefully! (sorry, can't let this maggot destroy my sense of humor or be immune from ridicule) The last time an identical smirk was seen was when Lee Harvey Oswald protested that he was "just a patsy". That's who this creep reminds me of. Once in every few decades, an individual comes along so evil and so devious they literally jar the collective conscience of the nation. Oswald's protestations set in motion thousands of wasted man-hours in countless conspiracy theories that went nowhere. This perp breaking into the house, carefully studying the layout while no one was around, and going through the papers and discovering the bonus check, not to mention the utter lunacy of the note itself, has lent itself to a national mystery that has tormented the heart of this nation for a decade.

In a very real sense, it doesn't even matter if this is the perp. Whether guilty or innocent, his sick self glommed onto the case, sought out someone who would eventually have to themselves seek help in dealing with him (Tracey) and has already wreaked havoc with the national consience.

Did Karr do it? We tend to forget this ain't Aruba, and no prosecutor worth their salt would stick their neck out without corroborative facts. My guess is they reran existing blood samples for traces of chloroform and got real excited when they got a hit, given his e-mails which probably included this detail.

When I say it's not paramount whether this guy was the perp, of course it's important. But the good to come of exposing a monster like this is increasing the public's general understanding of just how devious and twisted child molesters are. Like the meth or heroin user that craves their next fix so badly that their mind becomes a wildly inventive and creative and bold machine to obtain those desperately needed funds, the child molester's urges are so great they will employ the vast reserve of ingenuity and imagitiveness reserved for the rest of us when our very lives are at stake.

So the message is: do not resist your gut feelings about a person's character. Trust but verify. Look for small inconsistancies in a person's stories that may lead you to larger ones. Remember trust is earned, don't give it away for free. Check references and aske pointed specific questions to those you call.

Know Lee Harvey, James Earl and Karr for the lying evil monsters they are, for never will they stop tormenting all of us. That's what they do. Hopefully the King family no longer believes the assassin of MLK and understands it was just more of what he does. They are criminals of the first order. They are dangerous in every aspect of their daily lives. Help expose them and shun them in every way possible. There is absolutely no reason why pedophiles should be living and breathing in and amongsts us. We can and should exile all of them, never to have their evil eyes set their sights on another young person.

"I don't know how "easy" it would have been to get some of his DNA."

It's very easy to get DNA from someone, especially one is custody. If they are not in custody DNA can be gathered from thrown out drinking cups/cans/bottles, cigarette butts, hair brushes, combs, toothbrushes, to name a few. It's also very possible CA has his DNA profile or his profile was already in CODIS because of his prior arrests for child porn/molestation etc. I still am going back to my original thoughts on this case. The Boulder DA has much more evidence pointing to his participation and/or guilt in her murder then his obviously delusional words/writings. You can not get an arrest warrant, especially an international arrest warrant wihtout some evidence. Secondly, I do not see the current Boulder DA being stupid enough to arrest someone for the murder without evidence pointing directly at the suspect. I would venture a guess his DNA profile has already been tested against DNA found at the crime scene. If I was the DA and had that match, I wouldn't release it to the press until I was forced, via discovery, to turn over my evidence to the defense.

Well that's the whole point really
It's all about the DNA

If there IS a conclusive DNA match then it will be interesting to hear an explanation (from ex-wife & pervert) of how this "person" could be in Alabama at Christmas with wife & kids AND be in Colorado to commit the crime

I just heard a report that the ex-wife is now back-tracking saying that she "thinks" he was with her, and that she would have to check old family photographs, etc.

She thinks he was with her? Hmmmm. Perhaps he did travel around a bit. Apparently there is a file in his name in Denver which signals that he was perhaps going to file for a teaching license there, so maybe he was in the area. **shrugs**

He sounds like a total loon, but if he knew things that only the perp would know, then he is justifiably a suspect. I am with brytani. They MUST have more than this whack-job's confession--some forensic evidence perhaps. The BPD has already once been labeled inept and bungling, I doubt they want to reinforce that image.

Now the Thai authorities are backing off their "he drugged her" statement, saying that he said, "He was on drugs or in a haze"...

I am just going to wait until we hear what is in the charging documents before I dismiss him as a false suspect.

I see from an earlier post that you had done some research on chloroform. I had read from some other post that it could burn the skin. Do you know if that is correct or not?

There was some discussion years ago concerning a couple of marks on JonBenet that were dark in color. Some summarized that a stun gun could have caused those marks. Is it possible that chlorofrom could have caused the marks?

I am useless when it comes to science, so please be kind. : )

I thought that too until I saw pictures. There is very little snow on the ground and it's only in patches. Also there was evidence of a break in. A grate near the basement window had grass caught underneath from being lifted and closed. The perp could have lifted the grate, crawled in, lifted the window and entered the basement. There was also a shoe smudge on the wall. Several other windows had signs of tampering as if someone were looking for a way to get in before discovering the basement.

If it is this guy, he very likely could have been stalking her and her family. He may have know quite a lot about the Ramseys. Perhaps this wasn't his first time to enter the house? Whomever the perp is, if this person were a stalker, he might have felt quite comfortable in the house.

Just speculation, but there are lots of ways to explain things. We'll just have to wait and see how this pans out.

He did say that he was "in love" with JonBenet as much as it pains me even to type such a evil statement however its all in the DNA
