More to the point, ANY DeLorean in ANY condition would cost a heck of a lot of money, and this guy had no legitimate source of such funds that we've heard about. The only way someone like him could get hold of that sort of money, other than inheritance/family gifts (which doesn't sound likely for this family, and which I would think we'd have heard about by now anyway), is trafficking in child porn and/or child prostitutes. The sheer number of things that don't add up in the JMK story is getting mind-boggling.
