This is a strange case. Part of me says I hope he did it, and he is convicted. But something tells me this could be a publicity stunt to sell his book, and a method of escape from the Thailand prison. He seems like a mental case who started living the stories in his book. Just a gut feeling...
No need to ask around - they fed him all the info he needed beforehand.
This was my exact thoughts too........strange confession.
What twiggy said, right honey?
This is going to be a media circus. We'll all just have to wait and see whether this is the guy, or just a wannabe.
I'm simply not going to speculate on this case. It's way too iffy.
I was wondering what was going to be this years TRIAL OF THE CENTURY!
huh?
They need to muzzle Karr and get him to the US immediately. This pretrial publicity will be exploited by the defense lawyer.
Had the jury not been swayed by the race card, OJ would be toast. imho.
Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding! WInner, winner, winner!
"I was wondering what was going to be this years TRIAL OF THE CENTURY!"
Well, if there's a trial, this one will definitely qualify. There may never be a trial, though. Still, the media's going to blow this up beyond all belief.
Iraq? What's that? Israel/Lebanon? Who cares? We have the latest info on Jonbenet's killer! Watch us!
Or his wife is "helping him out."
"I was with JonBenet when she died,"
But the suspect's ex-wife said she was with him in Alabama at the time of JonBenet's 1996 death.
The brother said last night on Greta he was in Atlanta that Christmas at a family gathering.
So, is anyone telling the truth?
EXACTLY!
Then, once they extradite you go to court in the US and deny the whole thing. The judge throws out the confession and you walk.
Lara said in a subsequent interview that it could've been either AL or ATL, they had a family Christmas.
Hamilton, AL, where she and John Mark lived with their 3 boys, was where his grandparents lived, too - they had raised him from age 12.
His father and brother live in ATL and they have Christmas there, too. It very well may have been both - they might have had presents at one place and dinner at another or vice versa.
I am thinking that it might just be an attempt to get out of Thai prison. I think the US should take their time on rushing to get this guy back in the US.
Don't they call that "tenured"?
ex-wife
Could be a smart move. Facing charges on "unrelated sex crimes" in Thailand, he cops to a high profile murder of which he knows he will not be convicted, and is extradicted back home. If this is the case and he pulls the scam off, I hope we send him back to face those charges and serve time in a lovely Thai prison!
