John Karr advertised his services on job4teacher.com. I wonder did the web site bother a background check on him before they posted him on their site. If this came up I apologize.

I spent a lot of time researching the Kennedy assassination.Off topic, I know, but my theory was that a lot of people just couldn't accept how easily a twit like Lee could off the president. The paranoia surrounding the investigation was unbelievable and leads me to believe adult onset paranoid personality disorder is far more prevalent than most believe, and that these paranoics take comfort in dialoging with other paranoics.
Between "Case Closed" and a relatives' first hand observance of the shooter's vantage point at the book depository (verdict-turkey shoot), has any conspiratorist really got anything to say?
As to this case, since they been on this Karr for so long, wouldn't you think they'd have a dna link, or some really solid evidence, or are we starting to emulate Aruba?

The Ramseys didn't co-operate with the cops. I don't think anyone owes them an apology.

I hope you never spend 28 long days in jail, completely innocent, as a direct result of cooperating with the police. Maybe only then will you come to appreciate the phrase "ANYTHING you say, can and WILL be used against you." In other words, even what you might consider harmless admissions of innocent behavior can bolster their theories. And the Boulder police were clearly focused on John and Patsy and probably showed it. Cooperate with those seeking to hang you for a crime you didn't commit? Excuse me, your naivitivity is showing.

Tell it to John Walsh and Mark Klaas.Sorry, very different cases. Neither men were ever the focus of their respected cases, nor were the bodies of their children found only a matter of a few feet away from them. On advice of counsel (wish I hadn't been denied that right as well) they invoked their fifth amendment rights. Surely you don't come on a forum that defends the Constitution and have a problem with that?

"She says that during Christmas season of 1996 when JonBenet Ramsey was strangled and beaten to death in Colorado, they were living in Alabama at the time and she was with him the entire Christmas season."
Well her attempted alibi for him just fell through, because I just watched the video of him saying to a roomful of journalists, "I was with her when she died but it was an accident" or words close to that (sorry, I don't see a transcript of that quote yet, but I saw his lips moving and the words coming out of his mouth as he did admit to being at the scene of the crime).
As for whether it could be an "accident" that she died as the scumbag raped and tortured her, from what I've seen described of the autopsy report there can be no conceivable doubt that the perp made certain she would be dead.
There's no punishment adequate for this sick piece of human excrement, but I trust he will get all that the CO law allows.

His brother was interviewed last night and said that Karr was "doing research for a book on child pornography", which would explain why he was in Thailand. Isn't that always the excuse...that someone is doing "research" on the subject? The authorities will have to prove that he was in Boulder, however, and DNA evidence is crucial (although it didn't convict the murdering OJ).

WOW, that is one sick page -- that could be the guy's son?? "tortured soul" and all..... this guy has probably wrecked quite a few lives in various ways.

That's definitely him - no question that the photo is the same guy who I've just seen on TV several times in the past couple of hours from footage of the happenings in Thailand. btw, in addition to the scary weirdness that this guy has been around a lot more young girls according to his resume, if his statement is true that he has taught for prestigious schools (strange that none are named unless he's either lying or in hiding) and worked with "children from high profile families" there must be some intense scenes going on around the country today as people try to figure out who/where any other victims might be.......

I've been watching some of the TV coverage for the past couple of hours, and Karr has clearly admitted being "with" Jon Benet when she died but claims it was an "accident".... I hope there won't be any US legal issues with admission of his semi-confession (in case there are any shortfalls of physical evidence), because I just saw him say on worldwide TV (in front of a roomful of journalists) that he was "with" her at the moment of her death. He's trying to make a claim for accidental death, but I can't imagine any sane jury would buy that when all the facts are presented.

Perp used the end of a paintbrushIf anyone has read Perfect Murder, Perfect Town...a well detailed account of Jon Benet.....
..they would have an amazing amount of info....
..the paintbrush belonged to Patsy Ramsey's collection, and it was used to cinch the ligature.
They say the perp knows what the contents of her stomach were....
..anyone reading this book knows that she had pineapple the night of the crime...
..extremely detailed accounts of the house, murder, investigation are in this popular book...(I believe it was a made for TV movie, as well)
I will wait for the Boulder presser.....anyone know when this will be?

The Ramseys didn't co-operate with the cops. I don't think anyone owes them an apology.Tell that to the kids at Duke who DID start out cooperating with the police, only to be stabbed in the back because the DA was facing an election.

Your points are well thought out.
To: Calpernia
Yes, but in the USA he will have 20 years of appeals and then maybe, maybe not be executed. In Thailand, the death sentence is carried out in pretty short order (within a year maybe even a month).
