This is such wonderful news. I'm sure all the prayers sent up for Barbaro have helped.
A winner of horse, no matter happens.
He sure is, and with all the frightening news from around the world these days, it's great to have him to cheer for and lift our spirits.
It looked bleak for him. We all know he had an awful lot of TLC, still a horse with his problem needs an internal survivor's drive. It took more than TLC, surely. And hopefully the vets have learned a good deal from his case.

More good news!
Thanks!
What a trooper he is too!
I have to tell you who I bumped into at Delaware Park today.
Barbaro's owner, Mrs. Jackson. I told her how we were all cheering and praying for Barbaro. She was very gracious and seemed to be genuinely pleased. We didn't talk long as she had a filly running within minutes. Her filly won.
Very nice Lady.
Hey - what a name dropper you are!
Very cool :~)
Couldn't help myself.
Heh... hey, I'd have jumped at the chance myself :~)
Neat!
Thanks
Wow, Barbaro's Mom! Very cool.
So, you didn't hand her a 2-foot high stack of printouts of our posts from the "FReeper FRiends of Barbaro" and three bushel baskets of carrots, apples, pears, grapes, peppermints, and sugar cubes, plus a sack of buttercup seeds to plant in his little outside grass grazing area?
That's what *I* would've done, lol. Right before they arrested me.
