Yeah Berman made a mistake when he didn't sign her for a seventh season. She wanted more money and Paramount wouldn't pay her.

I felt bad for Worf when she passed away, which is kind of silly since it's all make believe.
Pay Jazdia the extra few bucks and spare us the Annoying, Cute Dax!

DS9 had some of the best secondary characters in any Sci Fi Series.
I remember when we find out that the head of the Obsidian Order was Garrick's father, what a shocker!
I loved Gul Du Kat.

Hey Kevin -- FYI (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/pr.aspx?id=20060810scifi01):
SciFi announced today that they are picking up the second season of "Doctor Who," starting with a two-hour season premiere on September 29. They'll run "The Christmas Invasion" back to back with "New Earth."
"Christmas Invasion" was a special that ran last Christmas, and then left us fans waiting until March for the true season premiere, "New Earth".
Still no premiere date from the BBC on "Torchwood" yet though...

To be quite honest, I was one of those people who was fan of the original BSG. I gave the new BSG a chance. I'm glad I did..

TNG was getting boring at the end. To me Voyager was the worst Trek show and I think it killed the franchise.

Voyager was hideously bad - that had to cart out some T&A to give the show a shot in the arm. Enterprise was rough, too. DS9 was the best of that whole lot, but even that is not a great compliment.

I was only intrigued by the appearance of a prior generation Dr. Soong. Aw hell, I was just happy to see Brent Spiner again. :-)

Everyone to whom I have suggested this show has given me some degree of resistance- until they watch "33" and "Water". After that they are, to a man, addicted. Those episodes are very good, and they're all I've seen so far, since I'm just getting into the show on my brother-in-law's advice. But the most jarring thing to me is that Adama & the President seem to treat Baltar as though he's a rational stable, resource for detecting Cylons, or whatever -- when actually, every time he's on screen, the guy looks like he's on the verge of a nervous breakdown or bursting into tears at any moment. Is this just over-acting by Callis?

A graphic I made a while back, about how screwed-up Enterprise was... idea shamelessly stolen from somewhere.

I didn't necessarily agree with Matt Damon playing Captain Kirk in Star Trek XI (although I see why), but I'm excited because Berman and Brago have nothing to do with Star Trek XI.
I would have preferred they focus on different characters, but regardless, having a brand new film crew and writers doing the next Star Trek movie is the best move Paramount could have made.
