Best Quantum Leap: I thought the one where he stopped his brother from being killed in Vietnam. Al ended up being a guest of the North Vietnamese.

But ALF considered more comedy than science fiction?

Of all time?
If so, does Mystery Science Theater count?

MSTK does count as a science fiction, in my opinion.

Black and white does count and is allowed. Dark Shadows and the old "Outer Limits" they are black and white.

There can be only one.

"They used to say if man could fly, he'd have wings. But he did. Why? He discovered he had to. Do you wish that the first Apollo mission hadn't reached the moon, or that we hadn't gone to Mars, then the nearest star? That's like saying you wish that you still operated with scapels and sewed your patients up with catgut like you great- great- great- great- grandfather used to. I'm in command. I could order this, but I'm not. Because Doctor McCoy is right in pointing out the enormous danger potential in any contact with life and intelligence as fantastically advanced as this but I must point out that the possibilities, the potential for knowledge and advancement is equally great. Risk. Risk is our business. That's what this starship is all about. That's why we're aboard her." -- Captain James T. Kirk,

I've watched most of the episodes in the new series, but aside from the first few episodes, the rest of the series to date has lacked that compelling something something. I'm satisfied reading recaps to see how things are going.

Yay another Trigun fan!
I know this might sound really geeky to you and many of the other freepers, but do you know the name of the ending theme song? The one with the credit roll animation with Vash just standing there, looking out into the desert? Only anime song I ever liked. I know it a cultural difference but it was the only song that ever fealt that it fit with what was going on.

Captain Kirk is more emotional and Commander Koenig is more cerebral.

I am very pleased with the show. Its very difficult to re-make a science fiction television series and they have done a good job to date. They need to eliminate the shaking the camara part though.
