LOL
Between him and Imus the droning was unbearable.
BTW it's been hot here. Really hot.
LOL!
Isn't it funny, that when Mel Gibson messes up, suddenly his career is "over" (according to AP and ABC) but when Charlie Sheen or any number of other Hollywood types have drug habits, drinking problems, get caught with hookers, etc. they are expected to rehab and go back to work. What a double standard! There is no forgiveness for Mel Gibson because he dared to buck the Hollywood system.
His career is far from over ("The reports of my death are highly exaggerated..."). The only thing that MIGHT be affected post-antiJewish rant could be his plans to make a holocaust movie. People might ask if David Irving would be the co-producer...
There'll be forgetfulness soon enough.
What I won't forget is all the gloating from the anti-Passion crowd here on FR, hoping to shame and embarrass those who found the work important and monumental. Mel disgraced himself, but an artist's work is almost always better than the artist. We see that over and over in the "creative classes." There were those here hoping to slap Christians upside the head and jeer at them, and they got their chance to try.
But, you know...for all the squawking over the past few days about Naughty Mel and That Terrible Movie, it was all from the same few posters who kept starting new threads to rant and vent and "I told you so". Turns out their presence on FR is not so big as they thought it was.
